(F/n) POV
I slowly opened my eyes being blinded by the light and the white room. I tried moving but a sharp pain went through my body. My torso, head and parts of my arms and legs were all wrapped up.
"Seems like you woke up" recovery girl said
"Umm how long was I asleep?" I asked
"About 3 days, now i'm just gonna go straight to the point you've broke parts of your bottom rib, arm, left leg, and a you have a mild concussion. It's a miracle that this is all the injuries you ended up with" she explained "and you know about the annual UA sports festival right?"
"Yea" I said
"I'm sorry to say this but you will not be able to participate" she rung out to me, this reality hit me hard. UA sports festival is something I was looking forward to, i've seen the one last year on the tv and it is where a lot of top heros see and recruit their wanted sidekick in the future. I've lost a big chance to be able to step forward into my dream of become a hero.

Struggling to walk with my crutches I slowly walked towards the vending machine. I sighed every minute and a depressing aura surrounded me.
"HEY YOU" someone yelled, I immediately knew who it was, and I did not want to talk to him now
"What?" I said
"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU GO IN FRONT OF ME, I DON'T NEED ANYONE TO FUCKING PROTECT ME" Bakugou said
"I'm sorry, my body moved on it's own" I said being a little annoyed
"IF YOU CRIPPED BASTARD DIDN'T DISTURB ME I COULD'VE DODGED IT EASILY" he shouted
"I said I'm sorry" I said with no energy, he then took my collar and pushed me against the nearest wall, I dropped my crutches and held his hands trying get them to release me. "Bakugou *cough* let me go" I said
"Why the heck did you risk your life for me" he said in a quieter voice, "I SAID WHY DO YOU DO THE SAME THING AS DEKU" he screamed at me again. The same thing as Izuku? In that moment I felt the need to move and protect, I don't want anyone else to get hurt even if it was Bakugou. His grip on my shirt got tighter and my injuries started to hurt.
"Bakugou please let me go" I said trying to snuggle out of his grip.
"Hey what are you doing" a familiar voice interrupted
"ITS NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS HALF N' HALF BASTARD" he shouted
"Let her go, she's injured" Todoroki said in a serious expression, Bakugou with an irritated look let go of my grip and left and I fell on my knees trying to grasp some air.
"Can you stand?" Todoroki held out his hands for me, I took it and he helped me stand up. I then grabbed my crutches and we went to the nearest bench and sat down together.
"So how's your injuries" he asked
"Not so great, I don't think I can participate in the UA sports festival this year" I replied, a quiet and serious mood followed my response, "I'm going to lose such a big chance of stepping towards my dream, and I'm going to fall behind everyone else", Todoroki still didn't say anything, he just kept his usual expression and stared at the floor. "But I mean it's not the end of the world, I will catch up to you guys right after I get better" I said trying to comfort myself as well
"Why do you want to become a hero?" he finally spoke, I took a deep breath and started to explain
"One reason is that I want to save and help people who need it but the main reason why I wanted to become a hero is to look for my parents and figure out what happened to them. When I was about 5 my parents disappeared and never came back, I know they wouldn't just leave me without a reason. I always told them that I was going to become a pro hero and they both said that they will always watch me and believe in whatever I wanted to do. So if they are somewhere in this world and I become a pro hero, they can know what I am doing and that I am okay" I finished. I looked at my hand and clenched it hard but soon the fist became blurry, my eyes were tearing up. The fact that this was the first time opening up to someone about this topic and the feelings I've been holding for these years suddenly riled me up. Droplets of tears feel upon my clenched fist as my tears became uncontrollable.
"I'm sorry Todoroki, it's just... I'm gonna go now" I said wiping my tears not wanting Todoroki to see such a weak side of me, I stood up and picked up my crutches and began walking. But unexpectedly I was stopped
"Wait don't go yet" he said and I turned around to face him. He walked towards me and suddenly gave me a warm embrace, with his sudden action I froze and became as red as the left side of his face.
"T-Todo-" I stuttered but was immediately interrupted by his words,
"It's okay to cry" with that tears fell uncontrollably as I dropped both of my crutches and melted in his warm presence. My forehead rested on his chest and both of my hands were covering my face. He just calmly put one hand on my back and the other on my head trying to comfort me to the best of his ability. The sound of the crutches hitting the floor echoed through the quiet hallway while I kept crying. Between my snuffling he kept mumbling things that I couldn't exactly hear but he said something like 'I have problems too' but I don't remember.  Once my tears began to stop we both let go of our embrace
"Thanks *hiccup* Todoroki" I thanked,
"No problem" he said looking away a little
"I'm going to go now, I told recovery girl I will be right back" I said
"Okay, see ya tomorrow" he said walking away towards the other direction.
