With the mite of a power puff girl she was going to get to the bottom of things no matter what

Evie had eventually been successful in finding the place where they had hid her twin sister away. Clary lay in a hospital bed in the middle of a bay. Well, what could be described as a bay for it was shaped like a hospital room yet much much quieter and less cluttered. Her sister lay in the clothes she arrived in, the holes that had been torn in them very much on show. Her red hair was fanned on the pillow around her giving her an almost angelic appearance. The sweating had decreased, and the place she had been struck in seemed to have magically healed. Though instead of the area being covered in normal skin it held a rather bold looking tag. Clary was not going to be happy when she awoke to see that.

However, Evie let out a breath that she was unaware she was holding at the sight of her sister being okay. The concern she had felt up to this moment was suddenly replaced with utter exhaustion. She now no longer was aware of what time it was, having been awake for nearly 24 hours solid seemed to finally catch up with her. She could see nobody in sight and didn't feel as though she had the energy to go and find someone to enquire if they had a space she could sleep in. Part of her also really could not stomach the thought of leaving her sister's side at this moment. Therefore, taking one more look around her and not spotting someone she laid herself down on her side next to her sister reaching out to touch her sisters sleeping form and finding herself asleep within moments.

Maybe it was some form of twin telepathy or perhaps she could sense that there was now other people in the room, but whatever reason it was Evie found herself awakening from her much needed slumber at the same time her sister did. She felt a sudden sense of alarm that they were suddenly in the presence of other people but was also still too tired to rush the process of waking up. If she had the option she would ignore the others around them and head back to sleep like her body so craved.

It took perhaps a moment for her to come around to the point where she could make sense of what was going on around her. But when she did and finally took notice she saw the three silhouettes which belonged to those who had surrounded the bed her and her sister lay upon. On the bed sat an incredibly beautiful girl, just looking at her face made Evie's heart race a feeling she thought she would not experience again. This girl had perfectly sculptured features and dark eyes. She didn't know how long she was staring but at some point during this time she had made the connection that the girl sat in front of her was the same blonde from the club the night before. Just like she had thought this whole time, Evie really did seemed to have a thing for brunettes. The girl who was essentially just a human form of a goddess had as much skin on show as she possibly could, something of which Evie could appreciate.

"I'm Isabelle." A perfect name to fit such a perfect person. There were so many nicknames Evie could come up with for such a name, yet Isabelle seemed to suit her just perfectly. And such a perfect name should never be tarnished.

She only half paid attention to the rest of the conversation of the three people who had entered the room. With only one of them not being identified for the blonde in the room was the Jace kid from the previous night. Blue eyes met blue eyes as Evie surveyed the final figure in the room he had contrasting dark brown hair and was sculpted much like an American version of Hercules. He was very aesthetically pleasing and had she been straight she would have gunned for this man. However, there was something in the way he stood which indicated he was constantly prepared for a fight to the death which unsettled Evie. He was too tense for Evie's liking and she wasn't sure she was happy to see that kind of constant personality. She could also see a family resemblance between the man she learnt was named Alec and Isabelle who both looked like they had walked straight off a page of a magazine.

The two siblings soon let leaving the Fray twins and Jace alone. Jace attempted to explain to Clary the world she didn't know existed until hours earlier, though it sucked big time in comparison to the one their mother had given Evie the day prior. Evie also learnt that this explanation was supposedly aimed at her as well as Clary though she wasn't as clueless, Evie was still aware she still had a lot to learn and understand. However, before she could ask any more questions or Jace could say any more Clary's phone rung out interrupting and bringing a close to the conversation.

Simon's name was the one to flash up on the caller ID. Evie could not hear exactly what he was saying yet through Clary's responses she could work out he was not impressed by their current whereabouts. Well, Clary's current whereabouts as she wasn't sure he knew that she too was in the dodgy looking church. It was thrilling to watch Clary stumble over an explanation as to why she was in the church, but if she was being honest Evie didn't know why they were in the church. There hadn't been any kind of explanation as to where they were or why they were here of all places. Or why all the people she had met or seen walking around looked like models.

Whilst Clary remained on the phone, Evie took the time to study herself. No doubt sleeping in her makeup would have smudged it and set her up for spots a couple days in the future. She still wore yesterdays clothing which was covered in some form of dust or dirt from the encounter with the imposter version of Dot and there was a rip in the side of her jacket. She also smelt and it wasn't a pleasant smell. She turned to Jace ready to fire a string of questions at him regarding her current state of appearance. Though it seemed as though he had been prepared for one of them to ask him about this situation.

"Isabelle left you both these." He indicated towards two piles of clothing. The only problem being that one pile contained a skirt and the other a pair of jeans. Clary practically jumped on the pile containing the jeans before rushing into the directed bathroom.

There was one shower within the room which Evie claimed almost instantly upon entering, and with a shower complete Evie finally felt slightly better. She felt cleaner almost as if she had been able to wash away the mayhem of the night prior and by the time she had finished showering Clary had left the room. Immediately she pulled on the clothing she had been provided with which also included a new pair of underwear though she stuck with her bra from the day before. She found that the skirt was actually a short with a pair of shorts underneath. She had left the white blouse with the top two buttons undone and the black demin jacket open. She found a pair of black trainer socks which complimented the pair of swede creepers which were also in the pile. Clary had left her a hairbrush and a bottle of deodorant. Pulling the hairbrush through her wet hair, she realised she had probably spend a decent amount of time in the bathroom but shrugged her shoulders before eventually leaving.

Only to find that Jace and Clary had left the room, abandoning her to wander the building aimlessly. Deciding it would be best to try and find the door she had entered through in the early hours of that morning she located it by listening to the sounds of an argument. Upon opening the door she found Clary in what she considered was World War Three as a boy stood on either side of her begging her to take their side. Was this what Helen of Troy had to deal with? This was when the three turned to look at Evie.

"Evie please come with me, I can help you find your mom, just please don't stay with these strangers." Simon pleaded with the younger twin.

"Simon you should know by now, wherever Clary goes, I go."
