"Yes Lucy," Mama said, turning to me with a determined smile. "You, are the six dragon slayer."
I looked back at her, stunned. "N-no, I'm just a celestial wizard!"
"Lucy, we need as much help as we can get! And you, being que- princess of the dragons, must learn dragon slaying magic!"
I didn't like how quickly my life was changing. First Dragons, and now, this. "B-but-"
"No buts!" She said firmly. "You are our only hope."
I can't believe I'm about to learn Dragon Slaying Magic. My mom had somehow convinced me to get lessons from all the dragons who were willing to teach me. This was my crazy schedule:
Monday 6:00 to 5:00- Igneel, Fire Dragon
Tuesday 7:00 to 6:00- Grandeeney, Sky Dragon
Wednesday 6:00 to 5:00- Star, Celestial Dragon
Thursday 7:00 to 6:00- Aqua, Water Dragon
Friday 8:00 to 3:00- Terra, Earth Dragon
Saturday 9:00 to 4:00, Star, Celestial Dragon
Sunday 10:00 to 1:00, Any Dragon
At first, I complained all day and night about having to wake up so early, but after a week, I actually started getting up earlier than the given time to train by myself.
"Blow harder!!" He shouted. "Imagine a hot spicy jalapeño in your mouth!!"
I tried blowing as hard as I could, but only a pea-sized amount fire came out.
Igneel shook his head and sighed. "Nuh-uh that won't do." He gave a powerful example. Literally. "ROAR OF THE FIRE DRAGON!!"
Fire came out in a huge flaming ball and I watched it turn a whole mountain into ashes. I looked down and muttered, "But Natsu makes it look so easy."
If Igneel had heard that comment, he ignored it. "Come on, Lucy! How about trying some fire? Maybe that'll help!"
Before I could protest, he shot a column of fire at my face. On instinct, I sucked in the fire. At first, it was burning hot, (not to mention EXTREMELY Spicy too!) but then I got used to it and ate all of it!!
"Why do you look like you just jumped in a tub of lava?" The elegant dragon asked.
I looked away, embaressed. "U-Um, just some training... hehe."
She shook her head and frowned but didn't say anymore of it. "Repeat after me: ROAR OF THE SKY DRAGON!!!"
Immediately, huge gusts of winds came billowing out of her mouth. "U-um okay... ROAR OF THE SKY DRAGON!!"
Only a small bit of wind came out of mine. Grandeeney smiled and said, "Not bad, for a first try."
By Wednesday, I was tired out. But the training did not get any easier. Star showed no mercy. "All right Lucy, show me whatcha got!!"
I was uncertain, but I managed to squeak out, "Roar of the Celestial dragon!!" This time, a decent amount of celestial magic came out.
"YES!!" I cried in celebration. Even Star looked a little impressed.
