"It's been a long time since I've seen your lovely face Y/N." The master looked over at you, grinning sickeningly. You looked up, your mind a blur. Everything in your body was weak. The energy drained out through a mass amount of cables attached to your body injected into your veins and bloodstream. A soft whimper escaped your mouth as you looked down at the floor once more.

"He won't come, yo- you know that right?" You wheezed.

The room was silent. The master walked in front of you, kneeling down. He took your chin in his hand and gently lifted it up.

Your E/C eyes narrowed into a glare.

"What are you talking about?" He growled

"I told him to leave me. For once he listened. This planet is a whole lot more important than a time lord, master."

"He doesn't listen to anyone."

"I've travelled with him for so many years... I think I know who he will listen to..."

The master glanced at you again. He saw your face sadden slightly. He scoffed and turned back to the controls. You braced the pain, and the room stayed silent until he turned on the machine. You cried out in agony as the small amount of energy remaining in your body slowly dripped out, powering what the master was to use for the time lords return.

You collapsed to the floor in a heap. You inhaled and exhaled hastily, gasping for air every time. You cried out, tears falling down the side of your face.

"I love the noise of weaklings in pain. I can't wait to see how the human race will sound; it'll be like an orchestra..."

"You're sick... This is why the Timelords did what they did to you. The chasm..."

He turned slowly and stormed towards you, grabbing your hair. You hissed and glared at him.

"It's a shame I need you... Otherwise, I'd love killing you."

"You won't touch her..." A Scottish accent called. The masters head snapped towards the voice. He dropped you, resulting in you falling to the ground once more. You whined quietly.

"What did I tell you Y/N, he never listens. I knew he'd come back... He loves you too much to let you go."

"She knows that..." The doctor interrupted.

You looked over and smiled weakly.

"Ugh, I don't want that soppy shit..." The master growled.
