It's been a week so far and the scar on my stomach has healed fully. Surprising Dr. Leana. It surprised me to. She looked at the damage that was done by the blade but there was no remaining damage.

And the wings are taking their sweetest time growing. So far they look like lumps in between my shoulder blades. And they also started to sprout tiny feathers. Tiny silver feathers.

I haven't really talked to Dylan. He doesn't know about the wings.
I woke up this morning with my back killing me. Literally it hurts to stand up straight. And now the lumps are huge. So here I am, sitting on the couch in Dylan's room. Watching TV. Being bored out of my mind. Just staring at the TV screen.

I look over at the clock on the wall. It read 6:40pm. All day all I did was sit and lay around because my back hurts. Looking out of the window, I saw the sun setting behind the trees of the forest. The sky was a orangy pink with purple and navy blue. I stare in awe. Just staring out of the window looking at the serene sun set. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Dylan whispered in my ear. Making me jump and spin around in surprise.

"Don't do that!" I exclaimed while playfully glaring at him. He nearly scared me half to death!
"Sorry! Geez woman. Have a little fun." He muttered walking away before looking over his shoulder. "I'm going for a run. Wanna come with me, or do you want to stay here?" He was waiting on my answer before fully turning around.

"Yeah, I'll come." I say while turning to the window. He walks into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. I waited for him, I turned the TV off and the whole room became dark. I turn on the bedside lamp and the room lights up again.

"Alright. Let's go." He said when he walked out of the bathroom. We walked down stairs and into the backyard. We walked into the forest past the tree line. The moon was high in the sky. It shined bright, being the only light in the dark forest as we walked. There was a comfortable silence between us. We listened to the sound of crickets singing into the night. Owls hooting away. After a few minutes, we came to a clearing. It was a cliff side.

I stare in awe at the scene in front of me.

The grass was a vibrant green which ended when nearing the cliff. The moon casted light onto the clearing giving it a soft glow. The sweet smell of moon flowers scattered all around us. They only bloomed at night. Be on the cliff was more green lush forest.

This was by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. My mouth agape as I continued to stare. And slowly I walk forward. Dylan following close behind me. I sat down on the soft green grass. I stared at the moon as if in a trance.

This was just beautiful.

"How did you find this place?" I ask in amazment. He looked at me before returning his gaze to the moon. "I couldn't sleep one night. I had an argument with my parents and ran out of the house trying to calm my wolf. I romed the forest until I came here. And for some reason, I instantly calmed down.." He looked at me, slight pain in his eyes.

"The next day was when I lost my parents in a deadly rogue attack. I regretted every bad thing I said to them. But you know what they say. 'You don't know what you got until you don't got it anymore.'" He said.

He lost his parents. The same way I did.

I was just about to reply when pain corsts throughout my back making me arch forward on my knees. I let out a small screech of pain. "Jess! What's wrong?!" Dylan exclaimed frantically.
