There is no humour in it at all, but this was Harry's shining moment. I didnt think Rayleigh should ruin that.

Becoming a groupie.
'What the heck am I doing? What the heck was I thinking?' I thought as I stood outside of Benson's club in the freezing cold. I decided since it was Harry's big night I didn't want to embarrass him again so I kinda dressed up... a little. I was wearing a dress for like the second time in my entire life. It was a green strapless one that Jess had picked out, she said it went with my eyes or something.
Anyway, I stood there with my arms clinging around my body, trying my best to keep my feet firmly on the ground so that I wouldn't blow away, when the limo finally came into view and parked outside. A tall blonde woman and a smaller African-American dude stepped out the car with a large black umbrella above their heads.
"You must be Rayleigh Fabre? I am Darcy and this is Amelle, you called us to come and watch your boyfriend perform?" the lady asked in a very strong New York accent.
"Yeah. You're the Julliard dudes, right?"
Amelle laughed smoothly. "Yes, we are the Julliard... dudes."
"Then come in." I insisted and ushered them into the club. They sat in one of the back tables, hidden in the darkness. This was going to be a surprise and if Harry knew they were there he would probably just get scared and freak out.
"Rayleigh?" I heard someone call. I turned around and saw Chase's dad coming at me with a huge smile on his face. "How are ya?"
"I'm alright." I smiled and shared a quick fist bump. "Thanks for this, you know giving Harry a shot."
"I should be thanking you, but I'll do that after I find out he doesn't suck." he chuckled and disappeared off behind the bar. As I watched Mr Benson walk away I caught a glimpse of Harry talking and laughing away with Chase.
I popped my head in between them. "Yo!"
"Hey you." Harry grinned and pulled me in for a kiss. "Where have you been all night?"
"Oh, I just had to take care of some stuff." I winked at Chase and he nodded understandingly.
"That reminds me." Chase said lightly. "We need a musician tonight and, uh, I hear you're just the man for the job, Harry."
Harry was taken back. "What? Are you kidding me? I cant get up there and sing... in front of people. I don't even have my guitar."
"Use mine." Mr. Benson grinned and lay a guitar case on the bar.
"Come on, just do it." I persuaded. "For me?"
He sighed and looked at me for an immeasurable moment. "Ok, fine."
"You wont regret this." I kissed him quickly and handed him the guitar. "Now, go!"
He looked around at us before finally turning and making his way up on the stage. He cleared his throat and tapped the microphone three times before speaking and getting everyone's attention. "Hey, um, I'm Harry and I'm going to sing you all a song. If you know it feel free to sing along."
He propped the guitar up on his knee as he sat on the stool and began to play. I instantly recognized it as "Don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith.
