Y/N's POV

I was at the store getting stuff for my girlfriend Dove and I when she called me. "Hiiiiiiii baby", she said. "Hi bear, what's up?", I asked. "Can you get me some strawberries and whipped cream pleeeeaaassee?", she asked in a baby-like voice. I smiled, "Yes baby girl, I'll get you some. I'll see you when I get home okay? I love you." "Love you too baby. Byeeeeee" I smile and hang up while heading to the produce section when I ran into someone. "I'm so sor-" I look up and see Dove's ex, Ryan McCartan. "Well, look what we have here, the freak that made my girlfriend leave me" "I'm not a freak", I mumbled. "Well, you and Dove aren't gonna last for long. Trust me on that. Freak" he said before walking off. What does he mean by that? I headed to the checkout line. All I could think of was his words. I cleared my mind and headed out of the store. I got in my car and drove off to the house Dove and I shared when I heard a horn and all I saw was black.

Dove's POV

I was sitting at home watching TV when I got a call from my best friend Kiersey Collins. "Hey Kiers, what's up?" I said. "Dove, turn on the news. Now." she said panicking. "Okayyy?" I replied and turned on the news. "This just in, Y/N L/N, Dove Cameron's girlfriend was involved in a terrible car accident earlier this evening. Eyewitnesses state that after her car was hit, the driver of the other vehicle stepped out, and yelled "That's why you get for stealing my girlfriend. You freak!", got back in his slightly damaged vehicle and sped off. There have been no updates on L/N but we will inform you once new information is revealed. Thank you." My heart was shattered. The love of my life was in critical condition because of some psycho? "Kiersey, what hospital is she at?" "Los Angeles General. And Dove, hurry" I grabbed my keys and sprinted to my car and took off.

I got to the hospital and sprinted to the front desk. "WHERE IS Y/N L/N?!" I asked impatiently. "Ma'am you're gonna have to wait. The doctor is in there now. But they found this at the scene. You might want it." She handed me a keychain. It was a picture of us on our 2 year anniversary. She was holding me and we were both smiling. I broke down then and there. Suddenly, I felt two pairs of arms wrap around me. It was BooBoo and Sofia. They guided me to the waiting room and sat me down. All I could do now was wait.

It seemed like hours but the doctor finally came out. "Y/N L/N?" I shot up. "Yes? What happened? Is she okay?" I asked quickly. "Yes, she is fine. She has a broken arm, a few cracked ribs, a broken foot and a minor concussion. She is gonna be okay." I sighed in relief. "The police did find the culprit though." "Who was it?" I asked. "Ryan McCartan" I was shocked. "Where is he now?" I asked angrily. "The police have him in custody as we speak." he replied. "Can we go see her now?" I asked. "Yes you may go see her. She's been asking for you. But she may be asleep." I took off towards her room and ran in. She was asleep. She had a number of bandages covering her body. She was bruised but she was still as beautiful as the day I met her. I walked over to the side of her bed and held her hand. "Baby, I'm here. Please wake up so I can see those beautiful Y/E/C eyes." Slowly it surely, her eyes fluttered open. "Hi baby." she rasped. "Hi my love" I replied. "What happened?" she asked. "You got in a really bad accident. Ryan hit you." I told her. "Really? Wow, am I invincible?" she asked. I giggled, "No baby, let's not experiment with that either. The police have Ryan. Soon, he'll be out of our lives forever" "I can live with that" she smiled. I kissed her head. "Get some rest okay? I'll be right here" "Okay" Slowly, she fell back asleep. I thought to myself, "Everything is gonna be alright." I too drifted off soon behind her.
