My alarm wakened me the next morning. 11am. It had been a late one last night and I knew there'd be a high chance of me sleeping in so I'd set it just to be sure. I threw an arm out from the warmth of the duvet out into the cool of the room and felt around the bedside cabinet for my phone, eventually finding it and silencing it.

Having wakened up slightly, I pulled it in front of my face noticing there were a few texts. I opened my inbox: Viv, Viv and Tom.

Viv first.

Ahh! So excited Emmy-baby! I just got on the train, Immma come getcha! :D xxxx

I couldn't help but laugh. Viv tended to add extra letters to her words when she was excited. And the second one was no exception.

Em? You up? You better be up. You're picking me up. WAKE UUUUPPPPP! Love you! xxxx

I couldn't help but smile, replying that I was indeed awake and remembering to pick her up:

'...don't get your knickers in a twist! Love you xxxx'

I then tapped the one from Tom, received at 6:30am - he wasn't wrong last night when he said he had an early start. Poor guy must've only had three hours sleep. The message opened up and contained two simple words:

Morning beautiful :) xxx

My face broke into an uncontrollable grin - squealing in delight and bouncing my feet off of the mattress, I clutched my phone to my chest.

I replied to him, keeping it short as he had:

Good Morning handsome :) xxxx

I sighed happily, putting my phone back down - Tom would be working and I wouldn't get a reply. I got out of bed, heading to bathroom - practically floating all the way there. Choosing a simple outfit - light blue skinny jeans, a navy lightweight jumper with a lace panel down the back and shoulders and my black boots.

My stomach rumbled and I knew I'd have to pay another visit to the cute little bakery in Covent Garden that I had visited earlier in the week. Heading out of the hotel, it was a lovely morning. London was glowing in the mid-morning sun and it looked lovely. I pulled my sunglasses on and headed to the bakery. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket as I was waiting for the crossing lights to change. I pulled it out and saw the name on the screen - Tom. His name alone was enough to put a smile on my face.

Crossing the road, I paused on the other side, unlocking my phone and locking the message.

Well it certainly is now that you're awake darling. Hope you slept well. I miss seeing your 'wee face' on set :( xxxx

I literally 'aww-ed' out loud - he was too cute. Grabbing my pastry and tea from the bakery, I took up a seat outside at one of their small tables to reply to Tom.

Aw, missing me already? I'm flattered. I happen to be missing your wee face too, Thomas. And I see my 'Scottish-ness' is rubbing off on you ;) Have a lovely day at work sweetheart xxxx

I had just put my phone down, about to take a bite from my pastry when my phone buzzed again - Tom. He must be on a break.

Of course I'm missing you. And, yes, your Scottish influence is catching - you naughty thing you ;) Thank you darling, although it would be improved greatly if you were here. Have a lovely day with Viv xxxx

Grinning I locked my phone and finished my breakfast, tidying up my table before heading in to town for a bit of window shopping. Passing designer store after designer store, I gazed at some of the items in the expensive windows. Eventually, I clocked the Forever21 store and headed in for a look. This was much more my price range. After ages picking out and trying on, I eventually settled on a slightly body con dress that came to just below my knee. It was a bit different for me -  something that I had never bought before but felt good when I tried it on.

I left the store, out in to the sun - something that we didn't see whole lot of on this country so everyone was making the most of it. I pulled my phone out, checking my phone for the time - 1:35pm. Perfect, that gave plenty time to make it to the station. I was so excited that Viv was nearly here. I arrived with ten minutes to spare, checking which platform her train was arriving at and headed to it - finding a spot on an empty bench, I pulled my phone out to text her:

Get your arse here and stop me waiting any longer! I miss you! Xxxx

I then replied to Tom's text from breakfast;

I'm just waiting on Viv now - so excited to see her. Hope work isn't too terrible without me there ;) xxxx

No sooner had I put my phone away when the train pulled in - a smiling Viv bounded off a few minutes later, both of us breaking in to grins as we spotted each other. I stood up as she came marching over to me, dragging her suitcase behind her. She ditched the case and pulled me into a massive hug.

"Emmy, Emmy, Emmy!" She squealed, tightening her hug, "Gah, I've missed you!"

"Aw, it's good to see you, Viv. C'mon, let's get you to the hotel." I said, linking my arm with hers.

Viv's eyes widened as I showed her to my room, "Well check you out, miss fancy pants! This is NICE!" She squealed and took a running jump toward the bed, bouncing a couple of times as she landed on it. I laughed, shaking my head at her.

Moment of madness over, Viv composed herself long enough to unzip her case and pull out a gift bag, "This, my deary, is for you. A little care package so you don't become too 'London'." She handed it over to me and I took it, intrigued by what was in it. I placed it down on the desk and broke the seal on the bag, peering in to discover its contents.

I smiled as I began to pull them from the bag; four 'wee bru's', McCowan's Toffee Bars, Edinburgh rock and a few bars of tablet. I couldn't help but laugh as I pulled out the last item - "A tin of haggis?! We never usually eat this at home, Viv!"

She laughed, "I know, I know. But I was running out of stereotypes. And a deep-fried Mars bar would never have survived the journey down here."

I hugged her, "Thank you, this is awesome. So, how's home?"

She looked at me, an eyebrow raised. "You're seriously asking me about home when you're working on a Marvel film? A Marvel film with Tom Hiddleston?! You're the one who should be telling me things, so spill!"

I laughed before launching into the tales of the last few days. I reached the subject of the date and Tom and couldn't help but smile, blushing slightly. After I had covered everything, Viv stared at me with a smirk, "You're falling, girly. You're falling hard." She smiled sincerely at me - there was no teasing anymore, "He sounds like an absolute gem. I'm so pleased for you."

"It's only been one date, Viv!" I protested.

"I know, I know. But you should see your face when you mention him. You light up, Em." I bit my lip as she spoke, "So, when do I get to meet him?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"You want to meet him?" I asked.

"Of course I do - I want to meet the man who's putting such a big smile on my best friends face."

I picked up my phone to text him, when I noticed he had replied to my earlier text:

Work is simply awful without you here. I hope you and Viv are having a nice catch up. I'd like to meet her. Xxx

Oh jeez. They both wanted to meet each other. I smiled before I replied to him, telling Viv that he wanted to meet her too.

So handsome, when are you free? Xxx
