Chapter 17 - Taking Madison To The Hospital

***Sophia's POV***
We decided yesterday that we were going to have a family and friends day so we called all our friends and family and they are all coming I wake up to Maddie screaming and crying I shot out of bed and Lucas was not far behind me when I got to Maddie's room Ivan was in there and holding Maddie "Ivan what's wrong with Maddie why is she screaming and crying" I ask almost in tears that my baby girl was in tears and screaming "Sophia I dont know I think she's very sick now she looks pale I tried feeding her with a bottle thinking she might be hungry and I changed her diaper and all idk but what I do know is that she's scaring the living hell out of me bc I can't get her to calm down and she won't wake up" Ivan says I go over to them and take Maddie and sit on the rocking chair and pull down my sports bra and see if she will latch on but she doesn't so I pull my sports bra back up and cradle her "Madison wake up baby mommy's here come on wake up babygirl" I keep saying to her but nothing happens and her body go limp and she stops screaming and crying but her breathing wasn't steady "IVAN GET HER CARRIER NOW LUCAS GET THE FUCKING CAR NOW" I scream at them start packing a diaper and duffle bag for Maddie and then change her "come on Maddie keep breathing for mommy I know u can do it honey come on babygirl" I say to her

I get her in her carrier and put her blanket on her along with her dummy in there just in case Ivan took her carrier done to the car I grabbed a shirt and put it on and ran down to the car I sat in the passenger bc Ivan took the seat next to Maddie
*time skip to the hospital*
We get to the hospital and Ivan had to take Maddi out of her carrier and hold her to make sure she was still breathing bc she started to turn blue on the way here so he held her for the rest of the way Lucas grabbed her diaper and duffle bag along with her carrier Ivan and me ran into the hospital "help my daughter's not breathing right and she stops breathing" I scream and doctors and nurses are at us in seconds and taking Maddie from Ivan which she doesn't like so they give her to Ivan and we all run to a room with a crib in it I lay her blanket down and tell Ivan he can put her down now I make a note to call Jackson and tell him to bring her playpen her bc I dont want her in that thing the doctor starts checking Madison and all "she has a cold and she started screaming and crying bc she couldn't breathe I would like to keep her here for 4 days on a breathing machine Sophia I know u breastfeed her and u can still do that but just be careful of the cords and IVs in her" I nod and then the doctor leaves I pick my phone up out of Madison's carrier and Jackson is calling me and then it stop I look at my missed calls and text and they are all from Jackson he starts calling again and I pick up this time
*phone call covo*
S- hello?
J- hey Sophia was wrong with Maddie I woke up and went to her room and she's not there and then I go to tell u and Lucas and u guys aren't there and them Emilio tells me that y'all took Maddie to the hospital
S- Jackson we took Maddie to the hospital bc she was screaming and crying and when she stopped her body went limp and the doctor said that the reason for her screaming and crying was bc she was trying to tell us that she couldn't breathe so they are going to keep her for four days on a breathing machine and IVs cores in her
J- oh okay is there anything I can do for Madison bc I'm coming up there and staying with her to do u want me to pack a bag for u and Lucas and Ivan
S- yea that'd be great also can u Maddie's playpen bc I dont want her in that stupid hospital bed bc she's a baby
J- sure thing soph I'll get everything and I'll see u soon
S- thanks see u soon bye
*end of phone call*
I end the call with Jackson and I turn around to see Ivan holding Maddie that already put the breathing machine on her and she awake now and Ivan is playing with her stuffie I didn't even notice we brought "Ivan Lucas Jackson is coming and he's bringing a bag for all of us including himself and he's going to stay with Maddie and us until she gets out of the hospital and Lucas can u tell the doctors or nurses to get us a much better room for all of us to stay in bc this tiny room ain't gonna work for us and also Jackson is bringing her playpen for her" I tell them and they nod then lucas leaves to go ask the doctor he comes back and nods and soon he comes back and nods at me soon the doctor comes back in "since u requested a bigger room for all of u its gonna have a couch bed a recliner chair and a hospital bed and since Madison's gonna have her playpen here we will leave the bed for one of u to sleep on follow me and I will show u to ur room" he says we walk out and Lucas grabs her carrier and I grab her bags and when we are going to the elevator Jackson comes up to us with four bags and her playpen Lucas takes to of the bags and Ivan takes his bag and we go up to the 5th floor we walk in and the room is much bigger and since I'm the only girl besides maddie I get the hospital bed according to the boys Lucas is sleeping with me and Maddie is sleeping beside us in her playpen and the boys decided that the were going to share the couch bed since its big enough for the both of them
