Estella Raney was shuffling around her room, grabbing a shirt here and there, as she packed her bag. Occasionally, her mother would pop her head in the room to ask her daughter if she needed help. The girl would then stop the chaos of a storm happening in her mind to give a warm smile and a kind "no thank you, I can do it".

That night, Estella and Clara were going over to the Diggory's home for dinner and to drop Estella off so that she could attend the Quidditch World Cup. Clara was hesitant to let her daughter go when she first asked permission. Ever since the death of her husband, she had been quite the protective mother. She knew boundaries though, and she also knew how precious her daughter's youth was and that keeping her from living it out would result in future complications with emotions.

"Okay, I think I'm ready," Estella sighed to herself.

"Are you sure you don't need to check everything for the ninth time?" Clara Raney teasingly asked from the doorway of the room.

"I might go ahead and shoot for a tenth time just to make it even," Estella laughed.

Later that night, Estella and her mother sat next to each other with Cedric sitting on the opposite side of the table. To Estella's left, sat Mr. Diggory. To Clara's right, say Mrs. Diggory. The two mothers were deep in a conversation about the recipe used to make the dinner they were eating. Meanwhile, Amos, Cedric, and Estella were chatting about the World Cup that they would be leaving to go to the next morning.

"Estella, I'm so happy that you'll be able to join us," Amos said cheerfully.

"I'm happy to join you two as well, thank you for inviting me," Estella replied.

"Is this your first World Cup?" Amos asked.

"Yes sir. I know how quidditch is played, but I do have admit that I don't exactly know who to cheer on," Estella answered with a smile.

"Well it's a good thing that we have plenty of time to tell you the reasons why we cheer on who we cheer on," Amos replied with a chuckle.

"Dad is a huge fan of the Irish," Cedric whispered across the table with a smile.

"Well son, you are too and if you are, you better say it with more pride than that! THE IRISH WILL WIN THE CUP!" Amos said loudly with a fist in the air holding a fork.

"Amos! We know, dear," Mrs. Diggory said with a roll of her eyes and a shake of her head.

Cedric and Estella proceeded to laugh.

"This is what you're in for if you continue on this trip with us. Are you sure you still want to come?" Cedric asked Estella jokingly.

"Most definitely yes," Estella answered laughing.

The next morning, everyone woke up early to get a head start on the day. Mrs. Diggory made everyone a big breakfast and lunches to take with them. Upon leaving the Diggory household, the three started walking in the woods to find the portkey that would take them to the World Cup. They arrived to find the Weasleys, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter waiting on them.

Mr. Weasley and Mr. Diggory greeted each other as old friends do while Hermione rushed up to Estella to give her a hug.

"It's so good to see you!" Hermione said while still hugging the girl.

"You as well!" Estella replied.

"You've met Ron and his siblings haven't you?" Hermione asked.

"Well I know Ron, and Ginny, you're friends with my cousin Luna right?" Estella asked the red headed girl who nodded her head in response, "but I haven't met the legendary twins."

"You hear that, Fred? She called us legendary," one twin said to the other.

"I heard it, George. I have a strong feeling that we're going to get along just fine with that one," the other twin replied.

Estella smiled and turned her attention back to Hermione when she asked, "Have you met Harry?"

"Not technically," Estella answered.

"We make remarks about what some people say or do every now and then, but we've never actually introduced ourselves," Harry piped up.

"Well, Harry Potter, I'm Estella Raney," she said sticking out her hand.

"Well, Estella Raney, I'm Harry Potter," he said taking her hand to shake.

"And this is Cedric as most of you probably already know," Amos said patting his hands on his son's shoulders.

"I go to school with them," Cedric said over his shoulder to his father with a shy smile.

"I know but maybe they didn't know you or how you helped win against Gryffindor last year," Amos added.

That made Fred and George turn away as they rolled their eyes.

After everyone properly greeted each other, Mr. Weasley was the one to mention that they should all get going. Despite some confusion, everyone grabbed onto the portkey to be spun into a new place.

Once they reached the campsite, everybody grew more excited by the second. Music was playing, food was cooking, and people where laughing and dancing. It was an amazing sight to see everyone come together to celebrate a game that hadn't even started yet.

Estella was standing by Cedric's side, gazing at it all when she broke out her trance to Cedric asking, "So what do you think?"

"I am in another universe."

A/N: Hello! I know this was kinda short and no "action" but it's coming in the next chapter. Trust me, it'll be better. Then it'll get real good. Then I won't be such a terrible person when it comes to updating. Okay that's all. I hope you enjoyed and continue reading :)
