Posting twice because I won't be able to write until tomorrow...

There's this poem I really loved when I saw it so this letter is going to be itBy the way, it's originally in Spanish so it probably doesn't really rhyme but it's beautiful.
Also, it was for a women so I changed the pronouns so it could fit the situation... Enjoy it, hyung.

I can write the saddest verses tonight.
Write, for example: "The night is starry,
And shiver, blue, the stars in the distance. "
The wind of the night turns in the sky and sings.
I can write the saddest verses tonight.
I loved him, and sometimes he loved me too.
On nights like this I held him in my arms.
I kissed him so many times under the infinite sky.
He loved me, sometimes I also loved him.
How not to have loved his great still eyes.
I can write the saddest verses tonight.
To think that I do not have him. Feeling I've lost him.
Hear the inmense night, even more without him.
And the verse falls to the soul like grass to the dew.
Does it matter that my love could not keep it.
The night is full of stars and he is not with me.
That is all. In the distance someone sings. In the distance.
My soul is not content with having lost it.
As if to approach him my look seeks.
My heart looks for him, and he is not with me.
The same night whitening the same trees.
We, the ones then, are not the same.
I do not want it anymore, that's true, but how I loved him.
My voice searched the wind to touch his ear.
Of other. It will be from another. As before my kisses.
His voice, her bright body. His infinite eyes.
I do not want it anymore, it's true, but maybe I love him.
Love is so short, and forgetfulness is so long.
Because on nights like this I had him in my arms,
My soul is not content with having lost it.
Although this is the last pain she causes me,
And these are the last verses that I write to you.

Wasn't it beautiful?

Forgetting progress: Poems still reminds me of you

Hey there! I hope you're all enjoying The Art Of Forgetting (or TAOF because I'm lazy)
Anyway, this poem was written by Pablo Neruda, who is one of my favorite poets, it's the "Poem 20" from his book "20 poemas de amor y una canción desesperada" which would basically translate to "20 love poems and a desperate song" so if you're interested in poetry, look it up! It is, in fact, written in Spanish so you'll maybe want to search for a translated version.

I'll use this occasion to say that I'm really excited for this book (I'm actually writing this after uploading the 2nd chapter and I think only my bestie is reading it so by the time I post this one, I don't know how things are going to be) but yeah! I'm really excited but tbh, I think the part I like the most of this story are the chapter names lol.

Anyway, bye, saranghae~
