Chapter 29 ~ Kenzie

I wake up in the arms of the love of my life. He's so beautiful it hurts.

"Hey baby you're awake!" Johnny smiles.

"Yeah, what time is it?" I say groggily.

"2:50, Lauren's bringing Brynn over in a minute," he replies.

"Why aren't we at school?" I ask sitting up, then I remember, "I remember it's fine,"

"I'm sorry," Johnny whispers.

"Don't be," I mumble getting up and fixing my hair.

Just then we hear feet rushing up the stairs, and girly squeals.

"Kenz! Come through to my room!" I hear Lauren scream.

"Better be off then," I say quietly to Johnny, before pecking his cheek and disappearing out the door.

"Kenzie!" Brynn squeals.

"Why are you two so excited?" I question.

"No reason," Lauren smirked.

"Okay then," I say.

"I'm hungry," Brynn moans.

"Me too," Lauren adds.

"Kenzie, go get popcorn," Brynn groans.

"But I'm not the one who's hungry!" I object.

"Please," they beg.

"Fine!" I exclaim, leaving the room.

They're both acting so weird right now, it's kinda creeping me out.

I put the popcorn in the microwave and wait until it stops popping, then I put it in a bowl before heading back upstairs.

When I walk in the room I see something I would never, ever, imagine seeing.

Lauren and Brynn locking lips.

My mouth drops open in shock, as well as the popcorn bowl, spilling everywhere.

Brynn and Lauren break apart and face me.

"Um, uh, we, uh" Lauren stutters.

"You know I don't care? Just make out when I'm not about to walk I the room," I say laughing.

"You're not mad?" Lauren mumbles.

"Why would I be mad? So you're official right?" I ask.

"Yeah," Brynn says, "please don't tell anyone though, my mum would kick me out the house,"

"I won't," I reassure.

"Anyways," Lauren starts as we all sit down on her bed, "there's a new girl at school, you won't of seen her though because of you and Johnny going and ditching and probably fucking in a bathroom in Starbucks after he told you he was sorry and all that shit"

"What the hell?" I exclaim, "Johnny and I only fuck in our own room,"

"So you do fuck?" Brynn screams.

"Maybe," I smirk.

"KENZIE ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING THEM ABOUT OUR FIRST TIME?" I hear Johnny yell from the next room.

"NO BABE," I yell back.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Brynn whisper yells, "you're a virgin right?" She says to Lauren.

"No she's not," I say answering for her.

"How am I the only virgin here?" Brynn asks dumbfounded.

"Not for long," Lauren smirks.

"What the hell?" I scream, "Can we just talk about this god damn new girl?"

"Oh right yeah," Lauren says, "she's called JoJo,"

She shows me a picture of JoJo.

"I don't care about a new 5th grader I thought you meant she was in our year," I laugh.

"She is in our year," Brynn adds.

"Holy shit," I reply.

She looks about 9 with that massive bow on her head.

"I know," Lauren says, "she's really loud and obnoxious, thinks she's amazing at everything,"

"Ugh kill me now," I joke.

"Anyways," Lauren starts, "what did you and Johnny do when you ditched?"

"Well he found me in Starbucks, then we went home and went to bed and-"

"Shagged," Lauren smirks cutting me off.

"No Lauren! We watched Netflix! Until I fell asleep and then you two nutters came home!" I squeal.

"Oh okay," Lauren says disappointed.

"Why are you so dirty minded?!" I joke.

"I'm innocent!" Brynn says, "It's just her!" She points at Lauren laughing.

"Opposites attract," Lauren smirks.

"You know it," Brynn replies, kissing Lauren's cheek.

"Stopppppp," I squeal, "I'm third wheeling to muchhhhhh,"

"Sorry, just go next door and bang Johnny," Lauren jokes. At least I hope it was joke.

"Lauren!" I scream, "Just stop! Brynn why are you dating her?"

"'Cause she loves meeeeeee," Lauren smirks.

"Do I?" Brynn jokes.

"Yes. Or else," Lauren says sternly.

"You guys scare me," I mutter.

"I scare myself," Lauren says staring into space.

"You are both weirdos," I laugh.
