disclaimer: i wrote this when i was like 14 so it's kind of problematic but whatever
Frank leapt into Gerard's arms when he got home, nearly tackling him. "I missed you so much," He said, the words muffled since his face was buried in the crook of Gerard's neck.
"I missed you too, little boy." Gerard smiled, wrapping his arms tightly around Frank. The nickname slipped, it was something he used to call Frank all the time. The latter didn't mind.
"What'd you do at work today?" Donna asked when Gerard finally walked into the kitchen, Frank still clutching him for dear life.
"Same shit I always do. Intern shit." Gerard sighed, hugging his mom from the side- the side Frank wasn't stuck to like a leech. "Dinner?"
"Almost ready," She replied, chuckling a bit.
"You're more concerned with food than you are your-" Mikey paused, looking at Frank. "New tumor."
Almost comically, Gerard turned his head to see Frank looking up at him and pouting dramatically.
"Oh, come on," Gerard chuckled, walking into the living room with Frank.
He sat down on the couch, pulling Frank onto his lap and- finally, Frank thought- cuddling with the younger boy.
"I missed you," Frank said again, this time with a much deeper meaning behind it.
"I missed you too," Gerard returned, knowing exactly what Frank was thinking.
"Kiss already!" Pete hollered from the dining room.
"Choke, Wentz," Gerard teased, not even looking away from Frank.
"Can I get a kiss?" Frank asked quietly, with puppy dog eyes.
"Later... I want to make it super romantic, and not in front of Pete." Gerard nodded. "If that's okay."
"Perfect."
