Who are you calling Blondie, Punk?
That was the best I could think of, to be honest. I didn't know how to get on his nerves like he had gotten on mine. I wondered if he was over-analytical or just had a good guess of an annoying pet name. Either way it seemed he got what he wanted done.
Again, I stabbed the curly-scripted note with the rough heart tack and skipped away, exited about a new friendship, a smile threatening to bloom on my face. I was a bit surprised he wrote a note back at all. Plus I didn't even know his name. he might as well be the new kid at school, who I still hadn't seen. Now I wondered what he was like...
As I sat pondering the great wonders of the new kid, I heard a, "Hey, Blondie." I turned around to kaleidoscope eyes greeting me with a playful grin, hands in pockets.
