Ch.3 It's My Job

When Skye finally woke up she saw Marshall was in medic mode treating her eye wound. She was inside the Lookout because it was no longer safe for anyone to go outside. But as soon as Skye was fully wide awake she sat up and looked straight at Marshall.

Skye: "Where's Chase?!"

Marshall: "Whoa, take it easy Skye. You're not going anywhere, you have to stay in bed until further notice." He said alarmed.

Skye: "But I HAVE to see him! It's very important!"

Marshall: "Sorry, I can't let you do that. Doctor's orders."

The Cockapoo wanted to argue that Marshall wasn't technically a doctor but instead she decided to come up with a plan.

Skye: "Hey, um, Marshall, I'm cold. Can you get me another blanket from that closet over there?"

Marshall: "Sure thing."

But just as he was about to grab a blanket, Skye pushed him in the closet and locked it.

Marshall: "Skye, what's going on?"

Skye: "Sorry, but you can't stop me from seeing Chase."

She ran off.

Marshall: "Skye! Unlock this door! Please!"

Skye, however, was already gone. She proceed to the next floor, but instead of Chase she found Zuma and Rubble playing Pup Pup Boogie.

Zuma: "Sup, Skye. I didn't think you would be up this eawly. Mawshall said it may take at least a day until youw eye is all patched up."

Rubble: "Yeah aren't you supposed to be in bed?"

Skye: "Well um, I can't now because I uh need a towel to clean up something."

Zuma: "Why didn't Mawshall come and get it for you?"

Skye: "Um, because I don't want him to know what I spilled."

Rubble: "What did you spill?"

Skye: "That's not important, okay!" She snapped. "Sorry, but I just need a lot of towels and they have to be from Katie's."

Zuma: "Oh, so you wewe on youw way to get them?"

Skye: "I mean I was but now I want to see which one of you can get them the fastest."

Zuma: "Why would me and Wubbl-"

Rubble: "Haha, Zuma I already got a head start!" He said already taking off.

Zuma: "Hey! That's not faiw!" He responds right behind him.

Skye's Thoughts
Good, that takes care of those two. This will give me enough time to have a chat with Chase with no interruptions.

End of Skye's Thoughts

Skye kept on looking and found Rocky. He was in the garage fixing Robo Dog. She was surprised that Ryder wasn't there.

Skye: "Rocky? Where's Ryder?"

Rocky: "He is at Katie's, probably flirting with her." He says with an eye roll.

Skye: "Perfect!" She says out loud.

Rocky: "Why is it perfect?"

Skye: "Uh... um."

She didn't want to explain so she pressed a garage lock down button and while the garage door was closing she slid threw the bottom, but left no time for Rocky to do the same.

Rocky: "What are you doing Skye?!"

Of course she didn't bother to hear anything else so she just went up the lookout elevator and that's when she finally found Chase.
