*~*~*~*

One thing Luke would never ever tell anyone, was how he and Ashton met. It was rather embarrassing and even if Luke could take certain embarrassment, that was over the line. It was odd, how they met, but Luke was happy it happened. He couldn't think Ashton out of his life by now and he was pretty sure Ashton enjoyed his presence as much as he enjoyed Ashton's.

Another thing Luke was happy about, was that he didn't need to introduce Ashton to anyone. He wouldn't even know what to introduce him as. Calling Ashton a friend was a bit of an understatement, but calling him a lover was too much. And telling anyone what they really were to each other, well, that wasn't really an option.

For a while now, Luke had had an interesting relationship with the older male. It was mainly based on sexual pleasure and they were basically each other's booty-call. Luke found himself calling Ashton whenever he felt like it.

Of course, he could also go out and find a one night stand, have some fun with them. But Luke trusted Ashton and with Ashton, he could do so much more than with a one night stand. One night stands weren't for kinky things or exciting new experiments, sexually wise. Those people, how nice they may be, weren't to be trusted. Not like Luke could trust Ashton anyway.

Sure, it took a while to get there with him, but he was now. He trusted Ashton with absolutely anything and although it may be called somewhat dangerous, Luke didn't care. He knew Ashton would never hurt him, not on purpose and / or in a way that wasn't part of what they did. After all, that was just the kind of person Ashton was. Luke had learned that over time and Ashton was actually very caring. He always made sure Luke was okay and whenever they tried new things that could possibly hurt him, Ashton would seek Luke's reassurance over and over. Maybe a little annoying to some, but amazingly calming to Luke. That way he knew Ashton cared for him and that he was safe, no matter what they did.

Either way, it was one of those evenings, not long after dinner, that Luke found himself at Ashton's door. He had called him earlier to make sure he had time, before pulling on some clothes more decent than his sweatpants and making his way to Ashton's house.

It wasn't a big family home, with two floors or a pool in the backyard. It was a pretty small cottage, more to the edge of the town, where it lined the woods. A little creepy to some, more having privacy written all over it to Luke. He loved that it was located there, because it gave them the perfect amount of privacy. And besides, it was a nice area and the house was cute as well. Ashton really had a nice place.

Luke was taking in the door for the umpteenth time while waiting for Ashton to open the door, fiddling a little with his fingers to push away the slight nerves that always came up. No matter how many times the two of them did things, Luke always found himself nervous when he waited in front of the door.

"Luke," Ashton greeted warmly, smiling and gesturing for the blonde to come in while he opened the door wider. Luke stepped in gladly, smiling in return and watching Ashton close the door behind him. "How was your trip?"

"Good. Slightly busy." Luke answered, slowly shrugging off his coat and fighting an annoying blush as Ashton took it politely to hang it away. "Oh, that's a little unusual, isn't it?"
