Castiel fluttered his eyes open feeling abnormally not tired. That's a new one.

He peered over us shoulder to see where the annoying beeping sound is coming from. He spotted a machine that he knew from films but didn't know what the actual term for it is and a heart monitor beside it.

Oh, he was on a hospital.

Wait why was he in a hospital?

Castiel looked around, spotting a very awake Hitler glaring at him, He padded to where Castiel was now sitting and jumped on the bed, then resting on his legs. Castiel reached an arm to pat Hitler, in true process he accidentally snapped a cord from his wrist and the heart monitor started screeching. Hitler perked up, standing in a defence stance to protect his human from the absurd sound.

Soon enough a nurse ran in with distress surrounding her face, she relaxed when she saw Castiel's utterly horrified face awake and not dead. "Sir, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, my wrist is bleeding a little but I'm overall good" after a few good seconds Gabriel came sprinting in, he probably heard the alarm too.

Gabriel was to say the least very angry and very distressed. After the nurse left to tend to other patients Gabriel let his anger speak. "How the FUCK did you forget to take your medicine you-you-I can't even muster up a curse! Goddamnit, do you know what it felt like hearing that your little brother is not breathing and being taken by paramedics??" Castiel looked down, pouting at his brother.

Gabriel sighed, wiped his eyes then pulled Castiel in for a tight hug. "Dont do that again, my little heart won't take it!"

"I assure you that I'll try not to die again. Love you too brother" Gabriel huffed, fixing his hair after Castiel ruffled it. "Dean and Sam are outside, I'll let them in after they take your vitals and unhook you from your machines"
