❝ for they could not love you
but still your love was true
and when no hope was left in sight
on that starry, starry night ❞
( extended summary. )
When Magnolia Prince lived in Washington, D.C, she was happy. The epitome of good, there had always been something special about her that nobody could place their finger on. Ever since she was a child, she had been smart, caring, and undoubtedly the kindest girl to ever walk the streets. But, as fascinating and idiosyncratic as she was, she was also the loneliest individual to ever grace the pavements.
Both before and after the loss of her mother, there was always a pencil in hand and a notebook in the other. Scrawled upon the yellow pages was where she was often creating images of surrealism, flipping the world upside down so she could see all the hidden secrets that the people surrounding her had to conceal. By turning her hearing aid to the lowest setting and immersing herself in her own mind, she could bring life to even the dullest of objects.
In her head, her life was going completely fine. She lived with her dad and her dog in a nice little house that was far enough from society that she felt comfortable. She was free, unlimited to the deadly universe of high school and communicating with the outside world. But when her father loses his job, she has no choice but to follow him to New York City and leave her dreams and happiness behind.
Now, in a crummy apartment with a limited amount of leg room and an odd smell of lemon, it's a brand new affair that Magnolia is somewhat willing to explore. With a new pack of pencils and a part-time job at the art gallery to keep her sane, Magnolia makes the most of the new experience, especially with her unintentional recklessness that keeps the neighbourhood hero in red tights on his toes.

( disclaimer and side note. )
i don't own any mcu plots, dialogue or characters. i own maggie prince, her family and her own personal storyline.
also, hello ! this feels weird to be publishing a second peter parker fic cause i always feel like one fic per fictional character is enough, but i've been thinking long n hard about writing this book for weeks and now that i'm on break i can finally write it ! i don't plan for it to be a huge, intense novel like bladerunner was (and still is tbh), so hopefully it'll be a nice lil read for y'all.
see you soon !!
(oh and yeS i know that i already cast amandla in bladerunner as gwen (but i forgot yikes) and honestly who cares they're amazing and i love them sm peace out)
