Game Time!

Time to get moving!

So today is my last day of school before summer and I have to say my final good-byes to all my friends before I move tomorrow. What is the worst part of moving? Well for me it's the fact that I am shy and don't have many friends I can trust. My name is Fumiko Haruko. I am 16 years of age and love gaming. Not many people I know love gaming as much as I do which made making friends I have something in common with was even harder to do. I have already gone to world championships because of my gaming skills. Though because I spend so much time playing games I don't spend enough time on my studies. So since I am going to one of the best private schools well I will be after I move, I have to give up my gaming passion. What will my life be without the one thing I love.

School is about to begin and I met up with some of my friends Kouki and Kanna. Kouki has been there for me since we were little and well I have liked him for years now. Kanna and I grew up together as well. The three of us have lived beside each other until last year when Kanna had an accident and lost her parents. Now she lives with her aunt on the other side of town but still made it to where she could go to the same school as us. We sadly don't have the same classes but we make do with the time we have. We sat outside the band room door waiting for classes to start but things today didn't seem to feel normal. Kanna wasn't talking to us about her new boyfriend and Kouki was sucked into another book. I kept looking back and forth between the two then said something. " Hey so I was wondering if we...well could hang out after school today." Kanna and Kouki both looked and replied simultaneously, " No sorry we have plans but maybe tomorrow morning we can since it is the first day of summer." They then went back to what they had been doing. "O-okay that works out fine I guess." I got up and left then they started talking to each other.

It's already time for lunch so I went to the sushi place just down the road from the school to eat and just couldn't get that off my mind. Its just they never say no to hanging out after school. I ordered my usual and started eating when they walked in handing out papers to the students that where there. Hopefully they didn't realize I was there since I was sitting in the very back. What are they planing. I walked over to the other students and tried to figure it out, " Hey what are those fliers for if you don't mind me asking?" They just ignored me so I left and went straight home luckily my mom was off having lunch with her co-workers.

My whole house was empty by 5 o'clock so I couldn't play my games and I didn't have my art things. I just laid in my room until I got a call from Kouki. "Hi what's up Kouki?"

"Come outside I have to show you something."

"Um okay but I can't for long my mom will worry." I got up and started walking down to the door

" Don't worry about that I already asked your mom if it was okay. Now come on hurry!" He hung up so I ran out to see what was going on

He was standing there with his hands behind his back and a big smile on his face. I walked towards him and I started feeling butterflies fluttering around inside me the closer I got to him. I stopped a bit in-front of him debating on wether or not I should hug him. " So Fumiko I know you're moving away tomorrow and you probably think we are mad at you but we aren't." He handed me the gift he was holding. I opened it and in it I found a sapphire necklaces. I looked up at him and tried not to cry, " What...why are you giving me this it must have costed you a fortune. T-thank you Kouki can you help me put it on?" He walked towards me, "Of course I can turn around." He pulled my hair aside and then clipped it on. I turned back around to face him and he kissed me on the cheek, "Come with me I still have something for you." He held out his hand so I grabbed it and we made our way to my favorite gaming store just a ways down the road from my house
