I was waiting...

Waiting for the doctors to tell me everything was gonna be ok...

Me and Jack had our fights...

But none were as bad as this...

We would say we were over with each other, storm out the house in a rage of one another...

But the last fight we had, I had let out something undeniably terrible...

I just hope Jack is gonna be ok...

Flashback before the fight happened, 3 years ago

Jack and Mark were sitting on the couch, happily watching a movie, on Valentine's Day may I add, it was the perfect situation, the right time for Mark to ask the big question to Jack, but not everything can go... as originally planned...

Mark felt the box in his pocket as he had other his arm around Jack, cuddling close to him, ready to protect him, put his own life in danger...

All for Jack, Mark was nervous, scared, happy, a mess of emotions he couldn't describe but he knew he was feeling at that very moment...

And Mark didn't know what to expect, but as the movie ended he pulled his arm away from around Jack, and took Jacks hand in his, he stood up, Jack also getting to his feet as Mark walked outside to their garden and saw their friends and family waiting for them, they all seemed happy and excited

Jack was confused as he looked at them and looked back at Mark only to see him, on one knee, holding a ring in his hand, and smiling with the smile that Jack had fallen in love with, Mark and said those precious 4 words "will you marry me, Jack?" Jack gasped and nodded as he shouted "Yes!" Mark stood up and placed the ring on Jacks fingers, they kissed and wrapped their arms around each other and pulled away as their closet friends and relatives cheering and clapping them congratulations...

They all soon left, leaving them alone, to start their lives together, but that was only a start of their biggest mistake...

They had got into a argument recently, about how Mark wanted a simple and not so expensive reception a casual white wedding would their closest friends and family in a church, While Jack wanted it to be more fancy and colourful and let anyone join in the celebration and have a outside wedding decorated with nature everywhere...

This was such a petty argument to have anything conflicting on their situation, even if it was a wedding, but this wasn't the reason Jack was trapped in his slumber, with no one expecting him to wake up...

Even though they had gotten of the subject, they were still fighting, about how Mark had caused so much trouble in their lives, with his constant dealing with dangerous people. About how Jack was always extra cautious and didn't take many risks and had always kept his options open in their lives just in case something went wrong...

Jack was always too cautious and careful

Mark was always outgoing and didn't have much care in safety

This made them eventually scream at each other, Jack slapped Mark, Mark took Jacks hand and pulled the ring off and threw it across the room, Jacks filled with tears and he gasped as the power cut out and Marks eyes started to glow red...

Marks eyes were glowing vibrantly red, his hair had gone a darker shade of the same colour, his skin went dark grey as his mouth showed off sharp fangs, those of a monster, a creature, a beast...

Mark had let his demon take hold of his body, and his world which was Jack...

When the ambulance had arrived to take Jacks, lifeless, beaten body to hospital...

Mark was nowhere to be seen, Jack had been hooked up to multiple medical systems...

Life support, breathing mask, heart monitor...

And Mark was waiting right outside as he had returned to his, normal state as he sat in the uncomfortable seating, fiddling with the ring of marriage that he had tore away from Jack...

He was left waiting...

And waiting...

For any signs that Jack, his true love, his paradise, his only world...

Was alive...
