I love this new school! It's 10x better than my old school. The teachers are cooler and the students are wild. I love it here.
After I got out of my last class, I got a text from Blake asking me to come over. When I left campus, I went straight to his house. When I got out, I contemplated on whether I should just walk in or knock. I just walked in.
"Griffaaaaaaan!" I yelled walking in.
"Briiiiiiii!" he yelled running down the stairs.
He jogged toward me and gave me a big hug. He's obviously in a good mood.
"How do you like your new school?" he asked flopping on the couch.
"I love it! I love it out here in general. I'm just mad it took me so long to get here," I said.
"That's good to hear and I'm glad you're out here. What are you doing today?" he asked with a smile.
"I want you to meet my son," he blurted.
"What?! Has she met him yet?" I asked.
"No. Brynn doesn't want me to have him around any girls."
"Well I don't know if you forgot, but I'm a girl," I comically reminded him.
"But you're my friend and I know how much you love kids, so I want you to meet him," he said putting his arm around me.
"Okay. When?" I asked.
I turned toward him and glared at him.
"That's some sneaky shit Blake Griffin, but you're lucky I like you."
He gave me a cheeky smile, "oh and Brynn's on the way," he said getting up quickly.
I ran after him but luckily, for him, the doorbell rang.
"Saved by the bell bitch," I said.
He walked to the door to answer it. A blonde woman walked in, holding a baby. She was tall and she looked about thirty years old, but she wasn't unfortunate looking.
"I thought I told you I didn't want your girlfriend around Ford," she said.
"Oh, I'm not his girlfriend; we're just friends," I said reassuring her.
"Oh well in that case, I'm Brynn and this is Ford," she said.
"Hi, I'm Briana."
I stood there and played with Ford. He's such a happy child.
"He seems to like you; would you like to hold him?" she asked.
"Sure," I said taking him.
•in my head•
She's surprisingly nice.
He looked up at me and started giggling.
"Oh my God, you're so cute! You look just like your daddy, but you have your mommy's eyes," I said.
"I'll be right back," Blake said going upstairs.
"So have you met his girlfriend?" Brynn asked.
"I haven't. Have you?"
"No, but I already know I don't like her," she confessed.
"Yeah. From what I hear, her personality sucks and she keeps Blake away from Ford," she said.
"Wow, that's ridiculous," I said a little disgusted.
"He was supposed to take Ford tomorrow, but because of their little date, he can't," she said sounding a little upset.
"Tomorrow? Isn't she in New York?" I asked confused.
"Oh no. She got back last week."
•in my head•
That muhfucka lied to me?
Blake came back, handed something to Brynn, and she left. I walked over to the couch and sat down with Ford in my lap.
"What's wrong?" he asked sitting beside me.
"Why don't you want me to meet Alana?" I asked bluntly.
He looked away like it would kill him to answer the question.
"Becaaause? Are you afraid I'll get jealous?"
"That's not it..."
"I'm afraid you two won't get along," he said.
"Why wouldn't we get along?" I asked.
"I don't know."
He looked like he wanted to say something else, but he didn't.
"Listen, even if we can't get along, I'll fake it because you my nigga and I'll do it for you," I said give him a reassuring smile.
He smiled and decided to just chill with Ford for the rest of the day.
