"Come on baby. Time to get up." I tapped Bey's face repeatedly trying to get her to wake up. She groaned and turned the opposite way. I sucked my teeth and started nudging her.
"Man what?" She quickly flipped over on her back and scrunched her face up. I did nothing but laugh, as I got out of bed.
"We got a interview on The Jimmy Fallon Show in a couple hours baby." I told her, and she let out an exaggerated groan.
"Ughhh! This makes no sense. We been married for 4 years and they're still asking us to do joint interviews like we're newlyweds. Imma start turning them nosy mothafuckas down." She threw the sheets off of her, exposing her naked body.
I watched her make her way into the bathroom. I couldn't help but to stare at her ass. That's all me right there.
"Man Nicki move." We were standing next to each other backstage, waiting for Jimmy Fallon to call our names. Bey was still holding on to that damn attitude and it was starting to piss me off. She been talking to me crazy all day, and I was barely maintaing my cool. I didn't even know why she was mad.
I grabbed her arm, pulling her close enough to close the space between us. "You gone lose that damn attitude Beyoncé. I don't know what the fuck your problem is, but you better solve that shit before I solve it for you."
She yanked away from me when she heard our names and I laughed. It wasn't an amused laugh either, it was more of a devious laugh. I was gonna get her ass later on.
I walked onto the stage after her and everybody was chanting our names. I waved and blew kisses as Bey did the same. She made her way over to the couch and I followed as Jimmy greeted us both, while the audience continued to cheer. I really wasn't feeling this shit. I was ready to go home. Hell, I was probably more irritated than Beyoncé.
"So we done with everything and you still actin' like you got a problem. You 25, acting like you 4. I'm not gone tell you again. Lose the fuckin' attitude." I looked over at Bey as I drove us to Chick-Fil-A. It was 12 noon and she still had her ass on her shoulders. I stopped at a red light and watched her scroll on her phone.
She rolled her eyes, looking up from her phone. We made eye contact and she stared me down. "I don't know what you talkin' about." She shrugged nonchalantly, and turned her attention back to her phone.
