Immediately after Jake left in the morning, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Aqua wasn't waking up anytime soon, so it's not like I would need to consult her or anything.
Here was the plan, I was going to get her back to the hospital, where she would recover, cause honestly, lying in bed at home with no medical help the whole day wasn't doing anybody any good.
I called the hospital and asked if they could send an ambulance over.
I kinda lied and said it was an emergency, and they said that they'll be over in about 10minutes.
All this time I was hoping that Jake wouldn't return just yet. I'm sure he would understand once I explained. Cause honestly, Jake wasn't thinking straight with Aqua around. He had missed almost two weeks of school, and I know for a fact if he didn't return soon, he could get suspended and that didn't look good on a college application.
I took a moment and looked at Aqua. She still looked the same to me, not better, not worse. She just looked the same. Maybe in a hospital she would recover quickly and we could all move on with our lives.
There was a knock at the door.
"Uhmm...you're Blake?" I asked.
"Yes, and you're Trish" he said, leaning casually against the banister.
"What do you want here?" I asked.
Ok, I didn't mean to sound rude, but he was interfering with my plans!
"Well, I was on my way to school, and I saw an ambulance coming down this road and I decided to come check on Aqua. Is everything ok?" he asked.
"Yeah, we're moving her to the hospital...uhm...where did you say you saw the ambulance?"
"It was right behind me, it should be here in a second or so. Where's Jake?"
"Oh so he doesn't know that you're moving Aqua back to the hospital?" he said, smiling.
"What? Of course he does..." I said.
"Right... so can I see her?"
"Yeah sure, make it quick though, the ambulance will be here in a minute"
"Mhmm" he said, walking upstairs.
"Its on the second door to the left" I said.
I waited a few minutes before going upstairs again. I found him talking to Aqua. Honestly! What is it with these guys? She can't hear them for crying out loud!
He was talking about school and how dull it was, and something about his cat or something, I wasn't really interested.
"Do you really think moving her to a hospital will help?" he asked.
"Yes, no maybe..." I sounded frustrated. This idiot was making things difficult.
"Ok, its your choice I guess" he said, saying bye to Aqua, and just as he was about to walk out, my worst nightmare came true.
As I was getting back from my walk, I saw a car parked in front of our house.
Blake's car. It's not that I knew it was his cause I saw him driving it, but I could just tell. He had bad taste in everything, except in women of course, seeing as he was into Aqua.
