Chapter 23

*Marie's POV*

I went downstairs where Demi already was. I looked through the peephole and it was Niall. He was banging on the door.

"DEMI. PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN."
"NO. GO AWAY."
"Demi you should at least let him explain." I said.
"FINE."

She opened the door and Niall stepped in. He had been crying.

"Demi..I'm sorry. I was drunk. She must've put something in it. I didn't mean to. Trust me. You're the only girl I love."
Niall explained.

Demi was crying now. She ran into his arms.
"Niall..Let's start slow..and go from there."
"Alright. So..where am I sleeping?"
"The couch." Demi said handing him a blanket and pillow.
"Okay. Goodnight girls."
"Night Niall." We both said.

*Demi's POV*

Marie and I went upstairs but before she could turn to go to her room I stopped her.
"Will..you sleep with me...please?"
"Sure mommy." She said smiling.

I laid with Marie in my arms and she was already sleeping. I kissed her forehead and slowly fell asleep.
