Dear Anxiety,

I refuse to let you defeat me. I refuse to be what you want me to be. I am stronger than I ever believed possible. After all this time, after all these struggles, here I am. Still living. Still breathing. Despite your efforts to pull me down into the dirt, I rise. I walk ahead, not with head held high, i admit, i have not gained that much confidence yet. But i travel, surrounded by darkness, and though I wander from my path, I know where I am going. You are merely a distraction. I will not let you lead me astray.

Sincerely,

Liz
