The loud ringing of her alarm woke Daniella out of a deep sleep. She turned off the offensive noise and smiled thinking of a fun day of beach and sun. She showered and got ready in record time. She quietly opened her door, tiptoed downstairs, and ran like crazy to her parked car. Letting out the breath she was holding, she started the engine, and drove to the designated area to pick up Marisa.
"Oh thank the gods," praised Marisa as she opened up the passenger door and jumped in. "I could have sworn I saw Mateo and Sean do a drive by."
"Stop it. They're probably doing their thing. Whatever that is," mocked Daniella as she put the car in drive and headed for New Jersey.
Daniella sighed and glanced over at Marisa and said, "Sean kissed me last night."
"I have to admit, that kiss was fantastic," groaned Daniella doing her best not to blush.
"I can't believe he freaking made a move. Kind of ballsy on his part."
"Girl, he lifted me in the air and wrapped my legs around his waist. He's pure muscle," gushed Daniella as she fanned herself.
"I told you."
"Holy hotness. He's incredible," cooed Daniella doing her best to keep the memory of that heated kiss at bay.
Sean met Mateo at the diner in town and both were seated.
"Dude. You look like shit," joked Mateo
"No kidding. Tell me something I don't know."
"What's going on that has you wrapped up tighter than normal?" asked Mateo in a mocking tone.
"Yeah. That's nothing new. You've always had something for her. What's changed?"
"Everything. Everything's changed," muttered Sean.
"Everything? I'm not following."
"I kissed her last night."
"Kissed? As in a peck on the cheek or a kiss, kiss?" asked Mateo in a confused voice.
Sean tapped the table nervously and started playing with the salt and peppershakers. He finally took a breath and blurted, "A freaking kiss."
"Were you drunk?"
"No. I was too busy watching every single move Daniella made. I freaking waited for her in her bedroom when she got home just to see her. If Benny didn't interrupt, Daniella and I would have been in her bedroom with the door locked."
"Yeah, about that," wondered Mateo. "What are you planning on doing with Daniella? What about Benny?"
Sean ran his fingers through his dark hair and literally groaned. "I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. I want her. Bad. Real bad."
