Zacky's  POV

I sat in the sound booth as Shads sang the first line.

"Wrong lyric." I told him.

"Fuck." He yelled.

I laughed before I turned quickly to see Nadia running around.

Gabby was right behind her and she had her hands on her hips.

"I meant fudge. Fudge I messed that lyric up again. Darn!" Matt said nervously.

I tried to keep my laughter in, but as soon as I looked at Gabby I couldn't hold it in anymore.

She started laughing too, but shook her head as she walked by.

She leaned down and gave me a quick kiss before she followed Nadia.

"She's got you whipped!" Matt said into the microphone.

I dragged my eyes away from Gabby's retreating ass and laughed at Matt.

"And you're not? Fudge? Darn? Oh please." I laughed.

He started to laugh too.

"Can you imagine what she'd do if the kid started saying bad words?" He said, an involuntary shiver running down his back.

Yeah.

I wouldn't want to be here for that either.

We went through half of the song before Matt's throat started getting sore and he wanted to take a break.

He took a seat and almost immediately, Gabby was bringing Matt a hot cup of tea and me a beer.

I smiled up at her and grinned as Nadia made her way over to me.

She climbed up on my lap and sucked on her sippy cup as she tried to reach for some of the buttons on the sound board.

Gabby gave Nadia a kiss on the forehead and made her way out of the room.

Matt punched me in the arm and he was grinning ear to ear.

"She's awesome dude." He said to me.

I smiled widely.

"No!" Nadia yelled.

Me and Matt both looked down at Nadia to see what was wrong.

"What happened baby girl?" I asked her.

"No hitting!" Nadia exclaimed.

Matt started to laugh and then kissed Nadia's forehead.

"I'm sorry baby girl. No more hitting." Matt said.

Nadia looked satisfied and I grinned, hugging her tightly.

Man do I love this kid.

Me and Matt played with Nadia, showing her all of the buttons.

She squealed in delight and clapped her hands.

Matt was about to get up and head back into the booth when I heard my car alarm going off.

"God dam--dang it." I said, watching my mouth around Nadia.

I heard Gabby walking towards me.

"Babe, hand me your keys so I can turn the alarm off." Gabby said.

I stood up and handed her Nadia.

"I got it. Thanks babe." I told her, kissing her as I pulled my keys out of my pocket and walking out the door.

I was almost to my car when the alarm suddenly turned off.

I stopped for a moment and then walked around the corner, stopping again when I looked at my car.

Someone wrecked it.

The windows were smashed, the tires slashed, and there were big dents all over.

"What the fuck?" I murmured.

I looked around, trying to see if there was anyone around.

I walked around my car, finding a baseball bat laying by the trunk of the car.

"Motherfucker." I said, pulling out my phone.

I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see the guys and Gabby walking out.

"What the fuck dude. Who did this?" Brian yelled.

"That's a great question. Ben? It's Zacky. Someone vandalized my car. Left the baseball bat behind." I told him.

I listened to his instructions, agreeing to follow them as I tried to keep my emotions in check.

I hung up the phone and turned towards the guys.

"We can't touch anything. Ben's on his way over. Going to check for prints and scan the area. Said we should go inside in case the person tries to come back." I told them.

The guys were fuming and Gabby's face was blank.

Because we both know who did this.
