Inevitable Love (The other half of me)
NEVER AND I MEAN, NEVER! BRING MICKEY, PATCH, ARNO, JONATHAN, AND/OR DAVID TO THE GROCERY STORE!!!
Here's what happened we got in, we got yelled at by some workers, Mickey and Arno got kicked out because they took all of the little sample sandwiches in the deli section, Jonathan and David broke all the jars of pickles on a display table, and Caleb and Patch were grocery cart racing so they too got kicked out. Which left me and Georgie.
We bought everything we needed with the credit card mum left us. When we finally exited the store we only saw Jonathan standing by the car.
"Hey J... um where's the guys."
"Oh they went back to your place."
I nodded. "Okay. So I guess you'll be driving."
He looked at me confused. "No, you are."
"What? No, Jonathan I can't drive."
"Yes you can Caleb told me you could."
"And you believed him?"
Jonathan looked at me worried. "Was I not suppose to."
I groaned. "Jonathan, Caleb makes my life impossible to live. He tortures me. I can't drive it's one of his pranks." I explained as I dialed Caleb's number on my Cellular electronical device.
"How's it going, babe?" There was yelling in the background.
"Just fine you jerk! You know I can't drive!" I yelled into my phone.
I heard laughing on the other end of the phone, then a big bang.
"S***," Caleb cussed. "Look Axa figure it out! I got to go! Love you." Then he hung up.
I hung up and looked at Jonathan wearily. "Jonathan, please tell me you can drive."
He hesitated. "I know how to drive, but not legally."
I smiled. "Jonathan haven't you ever broken the law?"
"Yeah, of course! What kind of question is that? Everyone breaks the law. That's why we have 'em. Duh."
"Do you have the car keys?"
He nodded then took them out of his pocket.
"Well, today is your lucky day. It's your first day in America and your going to be breaking the law."
"Well I've never broken the law and I don't want to start today so..." Georgie protested as she started walking in the direction of our house. I grabbed onto the hood of her jacket and stuffed her into the back seat ignoring her protests.
I went around to the passengers side at buckled my seat belt.
Jonathan started the car, but before he took off he looked at me with a serious face. "If I get deported your coming with me."
I rolled my eyes. "Of course I will." I said sarcastically.
He took my hand in his and said real softly. "I really missed you."
I looked at him and smiled. "Me too."
Then we were headed towards home.
"Dude! Your on the wrong side of the road!" I yelled at Jonathan.
"Stop yelling at me! I'm trying!" The car lurched to the right as Jonathan moved the car to the correct side of the road.
"I told you not to let him drive!" Georgie yelled.
"SHUT UP!" Me and Jonathan yelled.
"Okay turn here." I told Jonathan. "Slowly! Watch out for the bunny!" me and Georgie yelled together.
Jonathan had both his hands on the wheel. His knuckles were white, he looked worried and tense. He was mumbling to himself. I think he was praying, but I'm not sure I was more worried about the bunny he just ran over.
"Stop the car!" I yelled. "Stop the car." He kept going. "Now!" I started hitting him everywhere possible.
He groaned. "Aww! My balls!" The car stopped. He opened the door and collapsed on the ground.
Me and Georgie got out the car and over to the bunny. It was lying on it's left side, its eyes were slightly open, but not quite.
"Look," Georgie lifted it's right paw. "He ran over him. Now he can't hop."
I nodded unable to say anything. The scene was quite disturbing.
"Let's go." I said to Georgie.
She turned towards me. "I'll be inside later. I'm just going to stay here and make sure he's okay." I should have known Georgie's in love with animals.
I nodded. That's when I noticed that we were in our neighborhood and that Jonathan had parked the car in the driveway. I made my way up the driveway. As I got closer I noticed the front door was opened, but as I got even closer I noticed that the door wasn't open. There WAS no door!
"What the hell!" I yelled. "Caleb get your butt over here!" I walked into the living room to find all the guys lined up in front of me with there head down. Well all except for Jonathan who was splayed on the floor with a bag of ice on his genitals.
"Where's the door?" I asked fuming. They all pointed towards the stair case where the detached door was leaning against. I closed my eyes trying to calm myself. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU GUYS DO TO THE DOOR?!?!?!" So much for calm.
They all started talking in frantic voices at the same time. They looked like frightened little children. They all started speaking at once.
"I was just...
"I told him that...
"... wasn't my fault."
"... Balls really hurt!" I recognized that as Jonathan groaning in pain on the floor, but the rest was all just a chorus of buzzes.
"Shut Up! One at a time."
They stopped then nodded.
"Well I was..."
"Then he jump on..."
"...didn't know what happened."
"...Have kids... Aggressive chick... Bunny."
"I love you Axa! Marry me." Caleb of course.
"You know what never mind! I just want the door fixed before midnight. Got it?"
"...didn't do anything."
"...love of my life. You make me happy. You make me a better me. I don't know how to say this, but Axa will you marry me?" We all looked at Caleb who was down on one knee with a cheerio in his hand.
"Will you fix the door?" I asked. He nodded. "Then yes. Now get out of here!"
"Yes!" He exclaimed. He stood up off the ground then picked me up and kissed me! We all gasped in shock. Even Caleb did. He touched his lips. "Damn." He said to himself. "Axa I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-"
"What the hell was that!"
Oh. No. It was Kellen.
