* Nicole is searching through her purse looking for some red lipstick as her teenaged daughter is coming down their long victorian staircase .
" Looking for this mother ?! " she teases.
Nicole smiles greatly , thankful for having her only daughter even if she snuck some lipstick out of her purse !
" Zoe Etta Brady , how on earth did you get my lipstick from my purse young lady ?! "
she demands .
Zoe shakes her head in disbelief .
" Seriously mom ?!
Take a chill pill , it's just lipstick i didnt sneak it out of your purse it accidentally fell out so i picked it up then left it on my counter so i could return it to you but for you to accuse me of doing something soo criminal why maybe i should tell dad ! " she threatens .
She sighs frustrated ..
Meanwhile ..
Marlena is leaving her office at the Salem Hospital when she sees her daughter Carrie in tears sitting on a park bench outside .
" My dearest Carrie , sweetheart why are you soo upset ? " she asks cautiously .
" Oh Marlena , it's Austin ..
He just doesnt have time for me or us anymore ! " she hints .
" Nonsense , you two are in love and trying very hard to having a baby this should be a happy time for both of you , what's really going on ?! " she demands
She wipes her eyes , pulling out a pink scarf with lipstick stains on it .
" I found this yesterday..oh my goodness do you think my husband is cheating on me ?! "
she demands
Marlena comforts her .
