Chapter 12

I ran back to the cabin and screamed. "The hunters, there here!!" Another arrow came at me. I used my super speed and got into the cabin. I quickly went into the living room. "The hunters are here!" Kira, Alyssa and Cassidy ran into the room. "How is that even possibly?" Alyssa said. "I don't know maybe they knew how to get through it or something." I lied. Kira took in a breath. I tried to stay calm. She's the leader, she will know what to do. "Okay, Alyssa get your weapons ready. Cassidy I want you to hide and use your powers if necessary. And Sierra try not to die." What kind of advice is that. The others went off and got in position. There prepared but so are the hunters.

There are 6 hunters and only 4 of us. I wonder how long we can hold them off. We were created for this reason. To survive against the hunters. "I want you to stay out of sight, remember your training. You have the advantage. Your faster, stronger and have better reflexes. You can do it. You can survive." Kira whispered. These girls have been training for years. I've been training for a few weeks.

Kira ran out of the cabin. Alyssa and Cassidy followed. They didn't want to stay in a place with one exit. Neither should I. I ran out with them. I hid behind a tree. Alyssa and the others were hiding behind them too. Waiting to strike. I don't know why they came here. Was there only purpose to kill us. There has to be something more. Why would they dedicate there lives to cause pain and suffering on another species? I had no idea.

The 6 hunters were spread out. I had no idea were two of them went. Four of them had there weapons ready. One has a cross bow the other has a sword. Two hunters have bows. The were shooting at Kira. Yet she put a forcefield up around herself. They continued to shoot. And she caused there arrows to burn. If the hunters were scared they showed no sign of it. The kept firing. Then in less then a second one of them was stabbed with a sword.

Alyssa wore her black blindfold. She pulled the sword out of the mans body. It was drenched in blood. The other man turned around quickly his bow raised high. Alyssa kicked him in the legs he tripped his arrow got stuck in a tree. Kira caused his bow to disappear. He started punching Alyssa yet she blocked each one. She quickly grabbed his arm and flipped him over. A knife slit his throat and he was dead. They were murders.

Alyssa and Kira were back to back. Fire burned from Kira's hand. She was ready for anything. Two hunters were gone. There's four left. One was wondering looking for something, no someone. Cassidy was hiding in the bushes, where he was looking. If he found her she'd be dead. Dead because of me. Because of my selfishness. Then water floated in the air. And splashed on him repeatedly. She was horrified. He drew out his sword looking to kill someone. He was ready for her. Yet she was still hiding.

Water fell down over and over and over. Till the man didn't have a chance to breath. He didn't stand a chance. " I'm sorry" she whispered "I heard drowning is the least painful way to die." There were three left and none of them have found me yet. The hunter with the cross was taken out immediately. Alyssa shot three arrows into him and he collapsed onto the ground. There were two left, I was hiding behind a tree terrified.

One wrong move and I would be dead. I heard footsteps coming towards me. I began to run, they chased after me. I turned to face them they both had swords. I reminded myself of what they really were. They were monsters. Both of there swords swung at me. I used my super speed and I got out of the way. They ran after me. One of the hunters was face to face with me. They were monsters I repeated. I dogged the sword which was aimed towards my face. I kicked his legs, I grabbed his sword and bent it in half. "Please don't do this" he begged. I have power and I was not ready for the consequences. He was on the ground and I snapped his neck. Kira's voice echoed in my head. They show no mercy.

The other hunter ran at me and didn't stop he tackled me to the ground and he said, "where is she?!" "Who are you talking about?" His sword was pressed to my neck. "Where is the girl? The one you beasts kidnapped." Before  I could answer two arrows were shot in him and he was dead. I got up, my heart was pounding. His words echoed in my mind the girl, the one you beasts kidnapped. I went missing a few weeks ago, was I the reason they came. Was I the reason they died. Alyssa and the others ran towards me.

Cassidy hugged me. She was grateful that I was alive. Yet I looked at the man I killed and all I could think about was that I was a murderer, no I was much worse I was a monster.
