The feeling of someone watching you is something that everyone can sense; human, angel, or demon. Sam Winchester had that feeling a couple of days after Dean had taken off and Libby had been kidnapped by Nadia and Elizabeth. He continued to lay there in his bed, eyes closed and breathing steady, pillow clutched to his chest as the figure watched him. His hand discretely felt the bed under his pillow for his handgun. They let out a sigh.

"I know you're awake, Sam," she said in a bored tone. Sam's eyes snapped open in shock and he bolted up, staring at the redhead with wide eyes. "And before you ask, no, I'm not Libby." Any hope he had acquired in those few seconds left instantly.

"Why are you here, Elizabeth? To taunt me? You made it clear that—"

"Ah, ah, ah," Elizabeth interrupted, waving her index finger slightly as he leaned against the doorframe to Sam's room. "I didn't make anything clear. Nadia did." Sam rolled his hazel eyes. "Nadia is the one who wanted to take Libby. I was all for leaving her ass behind with you guys." Sam threw his legs over the side of his bed and Elizabeth stood up straight, her weight no longer depending on the wooden boards. "She's weak. She's not a threat to us. She never has been."

"So why take her?" Sam asked as he walked over to his closet to grab a shirt and pants.

"Oh, by all means. Leave off the shirt and pants. It's a sight I enjoy." Elizabeth licked her blood red lips as she eyed Sam from head to toe. He just scoffed and shook his head, sliding on the pajama pants and pulling the grey t-shirt over his head. Elizabeth frowned slightly but didn't let herself get distracted too much. "Nadia is all for theatrics. I could care less about running Heaven and Hell."

"So why side with the psycho bitch?" Sam ran a hand through his hair, the brown locks suddenly perfect. Elizabeth was jealous of that trait. It took her ages to tame her wild lion's mane.

"Because that's just what she is; a psycho bitch. Heaven's Demon and Hell's Angel are equal in power. To some, they're even the same people. Nadia could kill me just as easily as I could kill her." Sam shoved past her through the doorway, making his way to the kitchen. He didn't dare threaten her. Somehow soulmate or not, Elizabeth wouldn't hesitate to take down a threat.

The redhead followed him down the halls of the Bunker, her boots echoing. It was a sound Sam had missed enjoying to himself. He felt different now that Gadreel was gone, almost as if Libby hadn't even been there the past few months.

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes as she studied the Hunter.

"He played with your memories, didn't he?"

"What?" Sam didn't bother to turn around as he poured himself a glass of water.

"Gadreel. He messed with your memories of Libby. They're like dreams to you. Almost as if you haven't seen her since she died." Sam slammed the glass down on the counter and whirled around, glaring at the demon.

"Because I haven't!" he roared. "The last unaffected memory I have of Libby Wilson is watching her die, even after she was healed. I don't even remember helping Dean bury her! I don't even clearly remember finding her at the cemetery and bringing her home! Gadreel messed up every memory I've had of her since she's come back." Sam huffed, desperately trying to catch his breath and calm himself down. Elizabeth didn't show any reaction to his outburst. She hadn't even jumped slightly and her heart never even skipped a beat. It was as if they were having a normal conversation.

"Maybe that's for the best then." Sam stared at her as if she were crazy. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and let her arms drop from being crossed over her chest. "Sam, for months you had to watch the girl you love fall in love with your brother. Dean's loved her for a long time now and the moment that damn dog told them that they were soulmates he jumped right on it." Sam furrowed his eyebrows and cocked his head to the side.
