The girl, who at first sight hates me and says she isn't a fan, says she likes me.

My heart thudded in my chest and my hands were hot and sweaty.

I don't know what was wrong with me.

James looked at me like I should say something but I couldn't.

I just couldn't.

Here we were at TGIFs way past closing time, in a booth, having only just met each other, and she says she likes me.

"Sooo you like..... Brad?" James questioned her slowly.

"Yes he's really fit and cute and...." She said sounding bored.

So.... Brad?" James asked again, even slower this time.

"Yes, I find him attractive, why is that such a big deal to you people!" she threw her arms in the arm annoyed.

Everyone went really quiet.

Eventually James changed the subject by talking to Bella. The noise made it less awkward.

Liv joined in the conversation, nonchalantly, whilst I sat there my jaw still on the floor.

My brain was processing a thousand times a minute,

So she likes me?

Should I ask her out?

I can't I hardly know her.

Why am I so nervous?

Liv interrupting my thoughts by waving her hand over my face.

"Hello?" she called. "you were in space for a minute there."

She carried on her conversation with Bella and James, about Bella's mum from what I could hear.

"Oh yeah could you pass the salt, Connor?" she gestured towards me casually, not looking directly at me.

Then began deep conversation with Bella once more, holding her arm out for the salt.

I grabbed the shaker and then paused.

Did she just call me.....Connor.
