Death is a big part of life and it is often featured in books. Killing off your characters can sometimes be hard, however it can make your reader more invested with the story.

Here are some ways you can kill off your characters:

> car crash (this is the most 'popular')
> cancer (this is another 'popular' one)
> shot with a gun (massacre, by friend etc)
> drowning
> suffocation
> overdose
> electric chair
> plane crash
> if it is an AU with vampires or werewolves etc you could find a way with an enemy e.g. In TVD vampires can die by werewolf bite.
> saving another's life
> inhale carbon monoxide
> euthanasia
> lethal injection
> hanging
> stroke
> diseases
> allergic reaction
> fire (please know that most people who die in fires, first die from the smoke not that actual fire itself)

If you are planning to kill off any of your characters, remember to make it dramatic! Make it slow & painful for the readers.

I think, as a reader the best feeling is when people comment "I hate you for making me cry!" and that you gave them a reaction as harsh as it sounds haha. You want that reaction from them. Make it as real as possible. The characters may mourn their death or they may celebrate their death.

- if you have any requests please comment them!!
