Feeding the foundation of the earth,
a continuous cycle of death and rebirth.
It breathes beneath rotting soil,
a hateful pulsation of suffering.
Distasteful agony forced to remain loyal,
the tree of life, its sighs are gustering.
Spreading from the roots of evil,
quaking with a bitter upheaval.
To give life to humanity,
only to have it taken away.
Its roots strangle with nauseous vanity,
feeding nothing but putrid decay.
Breathing life into something it hates,
as futile as the angels that attempt to flee from Hell's gates.
