Alex Grey is pretty persuasive

The next day starts like any old day; getting up, brushing my teeth, getting a shower and getting dressed. You could say I had already mastered a routine. With 30 minutes to spare, I walk towards the car outside, zipping up my coat due to the icy weather now falling upon us since its autumn, I was wearing my trusty blue jeans and underneath my coat, I wore a plain light brown long-sleeved top. "Now I have a meeting tonight, you sure you'll be alright?" mum questions, rubbing her hands for warmth as the heating kicks into gear. "I'll be okay, I'll be home on my own for 2 hours max, I am almost eighteen." I remind her, she sighs shaking her head.
"I know, I shouldn't worry." She smiles weakly and I roll my eyes holding onto her arm as she pulls out of the driveway and off to school, "it shows you care but you don't need to be so suffocating." I laugh, and she smiles, turning up the radio as Arianna singing fills the car.

Heading through the doors of school I spot Cora down the hall with the same guy from yesterday holding her waist, surely, they were dating, right? Cora spots me and smiles waving at me. "Kades!" she yells, I laugh, shaking my head at her. "Hi, I'm Kadie as you most likely heard." I greet the boy and he chuckles, Cora still wrapped around him like a snake. "I'm Brendon, the boy that's stuck with her." He smirks and Cora gasps smacking his chest to which he rolls his eyes, "kidding of course." I grin at them both, my heart almost melting at how adorable they are.
All of us walk to my locker so I could pick up a few things before class, both Cora and Brendon lean on the other locker, breaking into a make-out session. Now I see why people disliked PDA. "Get a room." I coughed making them both sheepishly pull away giggling to each other. "Seriously guys the cleaning closet is only a few lockers down."
"Oh, shut up Kades," Cora smirks and leans against Brendon's shoulder. Finally finishing up with the collection of books I shut the locker and lean against it and Cora turns to me, "Why is Alex staring at you?" she questions. Turning around my eyes stop the idiot across the hallway, a blonde on his right probably stroking his ego. He winks, and I turn away not bothering to react. I was so over his crap, after what he did to Cora, there's no way in hell I'm falling for it. "He's just looking for a new follower," I comment as the bell rings, signaling for the first period which was Art.

Heading down the hallway I watch through the corner of my eye as Alex watches me before he begins to follow me. I get close to class, still hearing him following me and I turn again, hitting the same rock-hard chest. "Why are you following me?" I accused and he smirked, rubbing the back of his head, his hair looking more put together today and his white shirt clinging to his body. Why did he have to be so good looking? "Do you wanna go out sometime?" He asks and I'm not surprised, I laugh, turning back to go to class until he reaches for my hand. "Hear me out?" he pleads and I frown slightly before letting him continue. "I know you've heard about me and Cora, she told you to stay away. I can promise I've changed." I bite at my lip, and I check the time seeing that I had two minutes before class and I quickly backed away. "I'll think about it." I smile weakly and practically run to class.

Art was one of my favorite subjects. Ever since I was a child I loved to be creative from crating finger paints of our once tight knitted family, to the many canvases hidden up in my grandma's attic back in England. Her and my granddad always loved my art, they said that I must carry on. Both my number 1 fans. Sitting at my stool in the furthest high rise splattered table. Everyone was already collecting their aprons and rolling their sleeves up. I tied my hair up with the bulldog clip in my bag then collecting an apron and rolling my sleeves. Today we were printing and I have never really been a fan, I just don't get it really but I mean I was never good at it however, I always learned to appreciate the craft.

Lunch was soon ticking by as I found both Cora, Brendon and some other girl I hadn't seen on a bench near the bleachers. "Hey muffin top," Cora called and I smirk and turn to the other girl who didn't seem really interested in anything. "This is Jade, Brendon's sister, she's spending time with us." nodding I turn to the girl.
"Hi, I'm-"

"Kadie, yep I know." The girl interrupts and suddenly gets up, walking away with Brendon following after her. "She's a little on edge, two years below us, she anxious about Brendon leaving." Deciding that I needed to tell Cora sooner rather than I later I just burst out with what happened with me and Alex before Art this morning...
"...And-and, now I have no idea what to do." I cover my face with my hands and peak through the middle and forefinger to see Cora's mouth wide open. "Please say something. Don't hate me" I beg and Cora soon begins to smirk, "Say yes." I open my hands and raise a brow, she giggles and takes my hands. "You're the only one that knows his tricks, well could be because he does the same thing to every girl, with that sort of power. You could teach him a lesson. Make him fall for you." she smiles and I'm pretty sure my mouth was wide open,
"Are you sure this could work?" I ask and she nods at rapid speed,
"He'll take you to this Diner, near school called Betty's Brunch."
"If I do this, you owe me," I smirk and Cora shrugs.
"Anything" both of us stare at each other, a devilish glint in our eyes, Alex was going down.

As the bell rang for the end of school I soon spotted the infamous smirk and I was like the tiger catching the prey. I saw that he was collecting some books from his locker and I walked over, leaning against the other locker. As the locker shut he jumped and almost dropped his books. "Pick me up at 7." I winked and kissed his cheek before walking off, shaking my hips as best as I could.

Mum was sat in her car this time when I met her at the corner shop, her hair all over the place and she was viciously typing on her laptop, probably to try and meet an upcoming deadline. "Hey mama, how was work?" I ask, jumping in the car and gluing myself to the heater.
"Work was stressful, but it always is. How was school?"
"Good, can I go out with a friend at 7?" my mum eyes me wearily,
"I promise to be back for 9 and you can even meet him." her eyes light up slightly as I mentioned the gender of the friend and instantly began to nod her head, "Well as long as I can meet him, you can go." I smile and lean my head against the seat, ready for the plan to be underway.
