" I just want you, that's it. All your flaws, mistakes, smiles, giggles, jokes, sarcasm. Everything. I just want you. "
" So..." Jeremy coughed out awkwardly as we stopped his car outside my house.
"This remains a secret, got that clear? Emily will never know and we'll just pretend it never happened like it was never suppose to. Thanks for the ride, just text me the next lesson date." I said curtly before stepping out.
I hated how I was treating Jeremy like it was his fault that the kiss happened. I hated the way I felt when I saw hurt evident in his eyes, I hated the fact that his feelings mattered to me.
Without another second of hesitation, Jeremy pressed hard on the accelerator and zoomed off. I needed him to be angry with me. I needed him to despise me, maybe that's the only way to cover up our true feelings.
Standing at the front porch of my house, I couldn't help but burst into tears. I felt like coughing out my heart and stabbing it a million times for making me feel the way I felt. But I immediately sniffled up my tears when something caught my eye...
Right at that moment, the door beside my house where Dante lived opened quietly. I quickly hid behind the pillar, closely paying attention to the scene that played before me. Closing the door as softly as possible, Emily pulled her hoodie over her head and walked towards the road side.
Why is she doing out here at 4 a.m ?
And as if it was planned, a limousine stopped right beside Emily. Looking around suspiciously, Emily opened the door with shaking hands.
In my eyes, it felt like she was forced into doing something she didn't want to do at all. Never have I ever seen Emily looking so vulnerable and afraid. Something definitely didn't feel right.
Brushing away what happened, I returned into the house, replaying every moment of the kiss.
I hated to admit it but...it was perfect.
"Erm...ma'am? " I felt someone shaking me vigorously by the arm. Why can't anyone ever just let a girl sleep? Something didn't feel right, it was such an unfamiliar voice. Looking through my half closed eyes, I came upon a puzzled looking guy who seem to be around 19.
"Ma'am, I apologize for disturbing you but you're not allowed to sleep in a supermarket." He stretched out a hand with a small smile. My eyes widened in utter shock as I scanned my surroundings.
No, this can't be true.
Looking down at my attire, I noticed that I was in my famous banana peel pajamas. Smiling sheepishly at the guy, I took his hand for support.
A million questions flew through my mind. How did I end up here? How did I end up in a sleep bag in a supermarket? I remembered clearly that I slept on my bed.
The guy guided me out while many other shoppers stared or laughed at me. Realizing that I was not too far from home, I decided to walk home proudly in my pajamas.
This was insane! Did I sleepwalk?
Arriving at the porch of my house, I came upon a very interesting sight. More like a mouthwatering sight. Right before me was Dante only in jeans washing his car, with his raven black hair falling over his eyebrows and a smirk plastered on his lips. I swear I could replay the whole video in ' Call Me Maybe ' by Carly Rae Jepsen.
Noticing my presence, his eyes to mine— scanning me from head to toe. Typical Dante.
" Love the outfit, Sky." He chuckled with an amused look.
"Oh shut up! As if you look any better."
Lies! He looks so tempting especially with the fact that he had a tattoo right at his waist.
"I'm a Greek god and you know that! By the way, you wanna gang out with me today?" He gave me a cheeky smile.
"I don't see why not, and is Emily home?" I asked curiously.
"Nope, I didn't see her in the morning. She must have left earlier to Bethany's house or something." He shrugged ignorantly, his eyes focusing back onto his car.
That means Emily hasn't return since yesterday, something is definitely not right.
"I'll meet you after I get ready!" I hollered before skipping into my house with a sleeping bag from someone unknown.
The sleeping bag must definitely belong to the person who somehow managed to transport me to the supermarket through the night.
Stripping off my clothes, I allowed the cold droplets of water to roll down my back. Flashes of the kiss from the previous night came back to me. I shook my head vigorously, hoping that it would erase the memories that actually felt so right.
Pulling a tank top over my head, I paired it with some skinny torn jeans. I decided to clean up my room a bit by beginning to fold the anonymous sleeping bag.
Rolling it as neatly as possible, I came upon something written with a black marker on it. Squinting my eyes, I read the alphabets carefully before screaming out in anger.
"DANTE VALENTINO!! YOU'RE OFFICIALLY DEAD!!" I abruptly stood up, preparing to storm out of my house before I unknowingly tripped over my banana peel pajamas. I landed face flat with a loud thud, this day couldn't get more wicked.
I'm going to kill that prick! Picking myself off the floor, I thought carefully.
Maybe I could take revenge instead? I'll just have to pretend that I never knew he carried out this prank, his face would be priceless!
I laughed maliciously while clasping my hands together. It was a perfect plan!
Picking up my pajamas, I emptied it's pockets, hoping that some money would magically appear cause I was still utterly broke.
However, instead of finding money...I found something that left me at loss of words. It took my breath away just in the snap of a finger.
A red note.
My eyes scanned over the words that was written once again in thick black ink.
' That Kiss Was A Sin.
- 3W! '
How did my stalker know about the kiss? I remembered that we were in a field in the remote part of the city. His name sent shivers down my back. Pausing for a moment, realization hit me hard.
If the note is in my pocket, there could a possibility that 3W! came to the supermarket to 'visit' me or 3W! Is actually...Dante...?
No, this can't be true.
Can Dante possibly be 3W! ?
