How we choose a book? (For reading)

@Ayushi_Garg:

There's absolutely no fixed way to do so 😂. You see, even I won't know at that moment, what I want to read. People have 'mood swings' and I have 'book swings'.

Sometimes, I would be craving to read something particular. Like I' d have a storyline in my mind on which I'd like to read a book or it can be a particular genre (which is mostly paranormal).

And sometimes, I'd be so confused that I'd end up asking everyone to suggest me a book or go on a book hunt. I'll add all those in my reading list 'to read' and forget about them 😂. And the amazing fact is, I'd still read something that was never suggested by anyone 😂.

But I do read what they suggested but sometime later when I'm, in a mood to do so... I guess? Ah, it's too complicated. My reading list has around 150 books in it and I'd still go fishing some more. God bless me!

I'm very moody when it comes to choosing what to read.

So, that's all. Do share, how you choose a book.

@Myfreesoul:

Ha, I'm terribly sick and exhausted right now so deal with my 'not-so-put-together' answer.

First off, like this Asshat mentioned: I don't know what makes me read a certain book. I swear to God, there've been gazillion opportunities of mind-bogglingly awesome reads but... I pass them because I kinda predict the storyline and as everyone else I like to be surprised.

Sometimes I'm wrong in my predictions and I'm elated but several times, I'm right and...

Then again, I have my moments of specifications too like a certain Ms Asshat. I want to read a fixed genre or about a certain topic or theme and it's so difficult to find something appeasing.

My favorites are Paranormal, humor, Military based, medical based, Geek-y guys are hot! based, normal characters with normal lives and no fucking  clichéd pasts haunting them based and many more.

So it's all about the moment. I have 380+ books in 'To Read', yet I'll search all over the wattpad universe like a headless chicken. I'll ask for recommendations and then still read something totally contradicting.

So, that's it: it's all about what I feel in that moment...
