Chapter 3: Playing games

    Monday, April 30 2007, 12:03 p.m.

Angel and I had loads of fun last night, playing with his friends. They all got to stay over too, I was so excited. When it was time for bed, Angel got his sleeping bag out and said I could sleep in his room with him and his three friends; it was an amazing night we all watched Alice and Wonderland, then the boys chose a film to watch.

It was Spiderman. I’m not a person for Spiderman, but I fell asleep through it and noticed that I was in Angel’s bed when I woke.

We were all in Angel’s bed. It’s a queen sized so all five of us managed to fit in, it was very comfy too, I woke up and I was in the middle of all the boys. I look at the clock, laugh and wake up the others, it’s now 1 p.m. and we are having our breakfast.

My mum is out and said that Angel is in charge until she gets back, and no one is allowed to leave the house. “Angel after breakfast can we play a game on the laptop?”

“Why not, mum’s out I’m sure we can have some fun, right?” Angel replies to me pulling a wide-eyed face. I hear a bunch of yes’ from the others.

I have just finished my breakfast and I’m about to go on the laptop, but I hear a knock at the door, I run to tell Angel but he isn’t in the kitchen, I run upstairs and he is there on the x-box with his friends, I tell him there is someone at the door.

    “Ok sis,” He says

“What am I meant to do? Answer the door or leave it?”

“Just don’t answer, leave the person to knock, they’ll soon go away.” He tells me. I walk back downstairs and go onto ‘’ on the laptop; it’s got loads of games on it.

I hear another knock at the door just as soon as Angel walks down the stairs.

“Leave it Scarlet.” He tells me

“Ok, what time is it Angel?”

“It’s almost 4 o’clock” He says and goes to lift me off the chair, I get off before he does and let him have a go on the laptop for a bit.

“Do you mind if I go on the x-box with your friends?” I ask and look at Angel, he just shrugs his shoulders. “I’ll take that as a yes.” I grin and walk off upstairs.
