'Phoebe has given up her career after one song!'

'The breaker of many hearts'

'To young for the test of fame?'

'What happened to her?'

'Not a role model anymore...'

'Can she even stand on her own two feet?'

'Who make's all these decisions for her?'

'We want her back'

'To free spirited for Mike's likeing?'

'Was she sacked?'

It was all over magazines and the internet. It has been for several weeks now and I just want it to stop.

I told Mike three months ago...

"You want to drop your contract?" he shouted at me.

"I don't want to be famous anymore I want to have my old life back!" I cried.

"Rachel! What do you think?" Mike spat.

"I think it is a wise decision and I quit with her!" she smiled.

"Fine! On one condition!" he said, calming down.

"What?" I asked.

"You do a video shoot for your song... and then you come public when it is in the charts." he said.

And that's just what I did...

For days I have gotten all this bad press and I don't want it anymore... I don't have a job anymore but I am recieving royalties when my song is played so all I need to find is a job.

My phone buzzed in  my pocket.

"Hello?" I asked not checking the ID.

"Phoebe, it's Nathan..." they said.

"Could you... let me in?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

There was a knock at the door. I opened it and there stood Nathan.

"What are you doing here?"

"God... erm I wanted to ask you... if you... wanted... to go... to dinner... with me tomorrow?" he stuttered.

"Aww, Nathan. That's really sweet. Erm..." I hesitated.

Should I go on a date... it's not a date! Should I go to dinner with Nathan?

"Just say yes!" someone shouted from outside.

I stepped outside and there they were. Jay, Tom, Max and Siva.

"And why did I start to think he had come alone? Do you ever let Nathan leave your side?" I asked.

"No. He is the baby. He is only eighteen." Jay said.

"He is responsible enough to live on his own. I live on my own." I said.

"How old are you?" Max asked.

"She is seventeen." Jay said.

"How do you know that?" SIva asked.

"I was listening to a radio interview she was on a while ago."

"Yeah, that's before I have started getting all the bad publicity." I said. "Come in."

They all followed me inside.

"I'll make some tea? Coffee?"

"Tea." Nathan said.

"Coffee." The others said in union.

I came back through with their drinks and a glass of water for myself.
