He reaches out, towards the silky web. He marvels at it's beauty. A short memory is brought back to him. It wasn't too long ago, as he recalls, he was walking through the woods, when he stumbled upon a spiderweb. The rain drops the sky had cried earlier that morning clung to it.
He watches, as spiders seemingly fly around him. Dangling from unseen threads. Hundreds, no, thousands, crawling around him.
He smiles, ever so slightly. Maybe he wasn't alone after all.
