Family Time - II

They find Anika lying on bed, rubbing her forehead. Shivika runs up to her.

Shivika: Kya hua mumma? All okay?

Anika: *faintly* Haan beta.

Shivika climbs and the bed and sits beside her. Shivaay helped her sit straight.

Shivaay: Lagta hain tumhari morning sickness kam hone jagah bad gayi hain.

Anika: *confused* Morning? Shivaay, abhi shaam ho rahi hain.

Shivaay gives her the 'expressionless😑' look.

Shivika: Mumma?

Anika: Hm.

Shivika: *frowning* Kal school jaana zaroori hain kya?

Anika: Bilkul hain.

Shivika: *pouts* Likin meri ek irritating classmate hain jo kal school wapas aa rahi hain. *mummers* Achha-khaasa Delhi gayi, wahi reh leti na.

Shivaay giggled at her antics.

Anika: Likin ek classmate ki wajah se hum school jaana nahi chhod sakte na.

She takes the glass of water and takes a sip.

Shivika: Yeh bhi theek hain. Likin main toh uspe paani bhi nahi phaink sakti...aur na hi uske paas koi car hain jiska sheesha phod sakte hain.

Anika almost spat out her water, listening to her.

Shivika: Kya?

Anika: Shivika, kisi ka sheesha todna buri baat hoti hain.

Shivaay eyes popped out of their sockets after listening to Anika's statement.

Shivaay: Look. Who's. Talking.

Anika looks away and whistles😗.

Anika: Sau baat ki ek baat, tumhe kal school jaana hain aur uske liye jaldi sona zaroori hain. Toh khaana kha ke so jao.

Shivika: *makes puppy eyes* Okay.

She goes from there and Anika lets out a sigh.

Anika: Shivaay?

Shivaay: Haan bolo. Tumhe kuch chahiye?

She leans closer to him rests her head on his chest while he gently strokes her hair.

Anika: Shivaay, aapko bura toh nahi lagan a?

Shivaay: Mujhe bura kyoon lagega?

Anika: Woh...maine aapki aur Shivika ki baatein suni thi. Aapko achha nahi laga ki main Shivika ko...

Shivaay: Nahi Anika, aisa bilkul nahi hain. Shivika humari beti hain, usse apne parents ki life ke baare main sab pata hona chahiye. Main bilkul gussa nahi hoon. In fact, I'm very proud. Proud of you. Jitni maturely tumne itne saalo tak Shivika se judi saari situations ko handle, main agar tumhari jagah hota toh kabhi nahi kar pata.

He kisses her forehead.

Shivaay: And please itna stress mat liya karo. *keeps his hand on his stomach* Mere chhote-se baby *pinches her cheeks* aur is bade-se baby ke liye stress theek nahi hain. Okay?

Anika: Okay. *yawns* Shivaay, mujhe sona hain, neend aa rahi hain.

Shivaay: Itni jaldi?

She nodded faintly so he positioned her on bed comfortably and pulled a blanket over her.

Shivaay: Good night, Jhansi ki rani.

Anika: Good night billuji.

The following week saw ShivIka adjusting totheir new morning routine: a sleepy Shivaay holding Anika's hair back while she emptied the contents of her stomach into the toilet. During the week days,Pinky was always around Anika to take care of her needs but, during the weekends, Shivaay loved pampering his wife.
