I groan loudly.
"Oak do I have to?"
"Addison Kate! All you want to do is stay home and sleep. No more you are going to come watch me practice being Pierre."
"Carry me then."
Oak laughs and nods. He crouches down so I can get on his back.
I giggle and hop on his back. I wrap my arms around his neck as he holds onto the backs of my thighs.
I smile and set my chin on his shoulder. "My stomach is killing me." I sing in a high octave.
Oak winces. "I think you just made all the dogs in the area go deaf."
I laugh punching his arm.
"Are you suggesting that I sounded like a dog whistle?"
He nods.
"That is indeed what I am suggesting."
"I can't help it I don't sound like thunder when I sing."
Oak laughs and walks into the theater.
"And I do?"
"Oaky!" Someone yells.
No not just someone, a chick.
"Oaky?" I huff in his ear sliding off his back.
"Babe." He says in a warning voice.
The girl bounces over to us and hugs Oak.
"And you are?" She asks confused.
No this bitch didn't.
"You know I actually have to go watch Dear Evan Hansen with my friend. Yeah bye. Good luck, Babe. Knock em dead, tiger." I say walking out the door. Once I make it out the door I gag.
"I can smell the desperation radiating off of her." I mumbled before walking into the Richard Rodgers.
It was natural for me to casually drop by.
Chris was walking down the stairs.
He laughs at the look on my face.
"Someone steal your puppy?"
"No but this bitch is trying to steal my tree!"
He busts out laughing. "Oh do tell."
"I fucking will!"
