I stood there, mouth open. Sans was standing in from of me, his left eye glowing, and his hand outstretched.
I then looked past him to see a giant wall of Blue bones blocking the gun fire.
"Sans?!" I gawked in amazement.
"Long time no see kid!" He gave me his toothy grin. "I saw you an hour ago!" I yelled back in annoyance. "And besides, I could've handled it myself!" I pouted.
Sans rolled his left eye.
"It looked more like you were accepting defeat, than 'handling it yourself.'" He said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Your welcome." He said, his eyes averting mine. I followed his gaze onto the reporters and Cameras. I looked back at him.
"I never said 'Thank you,' ya bone head!" I muttered. "You might not have said it, but to you meant it," he looked at me with a determined look on his face.
"I know ya kid, you would never give up so easily, I was just helping ya fulfill what you promised." My eyes widened.
"How did you know!?" He smirked at my slowly reddening face. "Let's just say a little goat told me." He winked at me teasingly, making me blush even more at what he was implying.
"I hate you..." I muttered. He chuckled.
"AWWW! I love you too."
I was a out to say something, before I could, I was interrupted by a familiar squeaky, but beautiful voice.
"FRISK!?" I thought I could hear some murmurs from the crowd of humans. She stopped running once she was a few feet In front of me. She looked up at me, glee engulfing her eyes.
I watched as Frisk suddenly flung herself into me, attacking me with a giant bear hug.
I blushed. "F-frisk?! W-what are you doing!?" She hugged me tighter. "Giving you a hug!" She pulled away from me and kissed me on the cheek.
I felt light headed and I felt like passing out after that. (RIP: Cory Dremurr, death by kiss 😂)
Frisk suddenly shook me violently, trying to wake me out of my trance of teenage hormones.
"Fufufu! I think you broke him Frisk!" "Stop S-shaking the p-poor guy! You'll make his c-condition worse!" "The GRRRRRRREAT Papyrus agrees! He might die of that major sunburn on his face!" "Let me help you, my child!"
I looked over to see, Undyne, Alphys, Papyrus, and Toriel either surrounding me, or helping sans with his force field.
"You guys!?" I sat there shocked. I looked at frisk. "But I told you to take them away from here!"
"I couldn't just leave you here!" Frisk gave me a small smile, putting her hand in mine. "We're a family!"
I swear I could here "awwws" from the crowd of humans.
I looked at Toriel who bent down and started to heal my arm and chest. "This should help with the pain," she states calmly.
The humans watched in shock as I stood up, wounds completely healed. I smiled.
"Thanks, Toriel." I said with a smirk. She gave me a sweet smile. "Your welcome, my child!"
Another round of 'awwws.'
Suddenly sans fell to the ground, making Toriel run over to him.
"Are you ok, Sans?" He smiled again, touching his hand to his head. "Ya, just... Tired."
Papyrus rolled his eye sockets, still focused on the force sheild."I told you, you should have trained better!" Toriel let sans lean against her shoulder (well waist since he's so short) to help him stand. "Y-ya... Maybe..."
Frisk smiled at him. "You did well sans, now go and rest." He gave her a small smile. "Thanks, kid."
Suddenly, Papyrus, collapsed as well, the force field getting weaker. Alphys helped him up, while Undyne helped keep the force field up. "I'm not strong enough..." Papyrus said weakly.
"Don't worry, I gotcha buddy!" Undyne yelled gruffly. She seemed to be pouring her magic into that force feild.
I knew she wouldn't last much longer.
"PLEASE STOP THIS!" Everything went silent as I looked beside me at frisk.
She was crying.
"THIS ISN'T RIGHT! PLEASE STOP ATTACKING!!" Only gun shots could be heard.
The reporters and crowd of humans looked at each other with sympathy in there eyes.
"THEY WERE SEALED DOWN IN THAT MOUNTIAN FOR YEARS!!" She yelled. "THEY WISHED WITH ALL OF THERE HEART EVERY SINGLE DAY, THAT SOMEONE WOULD COME DOWN AND FREE THEM!" Her tears wouldn't stop flowing.
"Frisk..." I breathed.
"BECAUSE OF US HUMANS, THEIR HOPES WERE CRUSHED! CRUSHED AND THROWN AWAY INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT OF WISHES AND CRIES OF HELP, THAT NO ONE EVEN BOTHERED TO ANSWER!"
She stepped to the edge of the force feild, which Undyne opened up for her.
She walked through and pointed at the helicopters and reporters.
"AND WHEN SOMEONE FINALLY COMES TO SAVE THEM, US HUMANS TRY TO SEAL THEM AWAY AGAIN!!! IF ANYTHING THEY'RE NOT THE MONSTERS, WE ARE!!" She stomped her foot on the ground, digging it into the dirt.
"SO JUST LET THESE MONSTERS LIVE!!!!"
Time seemed to slow to a stop as I saw the missle fire towards her. I watched everything happen in slow motion, the only thing that was moving at normal speed... Was me.
I was the only one who could get to her on time, I was the only one who could protect her in time, I was the only one... Who could save her.
With out another thought, I felt my legs move on there own. I leapt out of Undyne's force field (that she was opening because she was running after frisk), past sans, and the broken police cars.
I somehow made my way out of any thing that was blocking my path. Bullets, missiles, flying cars, anything. I dodged it all.
I ran in front of her, back facing the missile, and arms outstretched.
"Goodbye Frisk, I've always loved you." She looked at me in horror as I gave her one last smile. Before being hit by the giant missile.
I don't remember much after that. All I could remember was seeing frisk shaking me, telling me to wake up, the blurry shapes of the other monster and humans, and the blaring lights of an ambulance.
I know you all probably HATE me right now, BUT DON'T WORRY!
He isn't dead :)
