Her breathing was ragged. Tears were streaming down her face.

Jasper was tied to a tree with his arms above his head and a spearhead sticking through his abdomen. The grounders were still nearby, gathered around the large tree as they looked up at the girl's injured best friend. They were talking amongst themselves in a sort of hushed chatter. There was about three or four of them with another standing at the edge of this clearing, keeping watch.

Theresa held her breath, standing behind a rather large tree trunk, unable to take her eyes off the frightful sight of her best friend. She waited for the grounders to leave before slipping out of hiding and running over to the tree. Because of the bruising and the injuries on her body, she was unable to climb the tree. So, she stood underneath one of the branches, hoping to get Jasper's attention. Jasper's head was hanging down, and if he had opened his eyes, he would see Theresa standing there below him.

"Jasper," she called out to him in a whisper.

There was no sign of movement, and she couldn't tell if Jasper had heard her at all.

"Jasper," she called out again a little louder this time. She whipped her head around, checking over both of her shoulders for a sign of the grounders.

When she didn't receive a response of any kind, Theresa took a deep breath before starting her attempt to climb this large tree. Her limbs screamed at her in pain, the cuts on her skin breaking open and pouring blood, staining the tree branches, her torn clothes, and her skin. She gritted her teeth as she continued to fight through the pain, doing whatever it took to get to him. Wrapping her arms around a branch just above her head, pulling herself up as best as she could.

Just then, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching along with the sound of voices. Voices that were calling out Jasper's name. She hadn't even thrown her feet up onto the branch yet. Her teary eyes landed on Jasper as the voices came closer.

"I'm coming back for you," she whispered, a tear running down her cheek.

She fell to the ground, pain shooting through her body as her feet made contact with the dirt. With one last look over her shoulder, she caught a glimpse of blonde hair before she ran back to the trees.

Finn had gone after sitting with Theresa and Jaha for about an hour or so. Jaha had continued to ramble on about this "City of Light", but he didn't change Theresa's mind. In her mind, she made her choice to join Bellamy and Clarke as they fought their way back to Mount Weather. Word was spreading that Clarke had returned from her meeting with this Commander Lexa, and the rumor that Theresa was hearing wasn't pretty.

They were willing to offer a truce, but they needed Finn dead.

It was quiet inside, but there was a commotion starting outside. Raven's voice echoed through the corridor; she was screaming, "Let me go! Let me go!" The door opened and Raven was thrown inside, landing hard on the floor. The door shut as she struggled to push herself up, but Theresa was quick to rush to her side. "Assholes," she muttered.

"What happened?" Theresa asked.

She forced herself out of Theresa's grip as she limped to the other side of the room, a scowl on her face. She didn't say anything. All she did was let out a groan and run her hands through her messed-up hair.

"Raven, talk to me!" Theresa exclaimed. "What's going on out there?!"

She whipped her head around, flashing a glare at Theresa but still not saying anything.

Theresa stepped towards her, gripping her arm as tightly as she could so Raven couldn't turn away again. "Please," she said softly, "Tell me what's going on."
