Castiel eventually ran into the restaurant with his hair sticking out wildly and his face drenched in sweat, "I am, so, sorry" he wheezed, asking for dean's permission to sit. "I had a good reason. I swear on it" Castiel calmed his breathing and Dean smiled "It's alright, at least you showed up. Glad you're here" Castiel nodded, apologising again. Dean's pretty sure he would have kept apologising but the waiter interrupted him.
"Can I please get a diet soda with it?" The waiter nodded and jogged away to send in the order. Dean leaned on the table, striking up a convo with Cas. "Again, Dean. So sorry for leaving you waiting"
