Author's Note:

This is actually my final exam in Humanities. Our professor's last discussion was about mythical archetypes. He asked us to make a story featuring the archetypes he discussed in class and it will be our final exam. My ideas were endless and I wanted to make it a trilogy. But I don't think I can. But I will try. I will warn you already. This will be a cliffhanger. I added some changes and that includes the name of some characters. This story is inspired by several novels I've read. Anyway, I hope you like it. For now, here's the synopsis. Enjoy reading. Comment and vote. I'm open to criticisms. Also, I haven't proof read this yet. Sorry if there are a lot of grammar error in this story. This is also a product of a rush work.

Book Description

Cara grew up in an orphanage and she is tired of living in that old house. For 10 years, she stayed there without a clue who her real parents were. She has a vague memory of her past. She remembers waking up one day at the orphanage but can't remember any other thing even her name. Cara is the name given to her at the orphanage. No one came or claimed to be her family. All she had was a locket that could be the key to her past. When she turned sixteen, something strange started to happen, things she couldn't explain. When she ran away, she met a person who would introduce her to a world she never knew existed, a world where legend and magic becomes real. Cara's ancestry can be traced back to the 15th century and her role in fulfilling the prophecy as the lost descendant is something she has never imagined.
