“I'll leave you to think about your friend.” And then he walked out.
The next day
11 days until [First name]'s birthday...Today was the first time [First name] saw rain fall in Hyrule. The sky was dark, clear of white clouds, instead large nearly black clouds filled the sky. And from those clouds fell heavy rain.
Both Zelda and Link were busy today, so, [First name] had to spend the day all by herself. She wanted to listen to some music, but there was no way, so, she hummed instead.
Lucy walked in, pushing the door open with one hand and her other hand carried a plate of food. She placed it on the small table in front of [First name]'s bed. “Here you are. I hope you like curry.”
[First name] smiled at Lucy. She got up and sat at her small table and then scooped up some curry, bringing the spoon to her lips. She was bored. So bored. She took her time eating her curry.
The rain had calmed down. For a minute, she listened to the tapping of rain. It soothed her. Maybe she should go out for a walk? Yeah, that sounded nice.
She put a lock of hair behind her round ear. [First name] stood up, and walked out of her room. Somehow, she managed to get out of the castle without getting lost.
She pulled her hood over her head and walked to castle town. There were no people running around, probably because of all the rain.
She sat on a bench that was underneath a tree. She hummed quietly, listening to the soothing sound of the rain's continuous tapping of it making contact with the ground.
[First name] hugged herself, shivering. She regrets not wearing warmer clothes. She looked down, staring at a small puddle that had started collecting.
She looked up at the sky, sighing. She didn't really like being alone, she was cold, wet and alone. Great combination.
For some reason, Link slipped in to her mind. Was Link okay? He seemed real upset last night didn't he? Why was that? [First name] couldn't put her finger on it, she was pretty sure she had something to do with it.
—
Link felt really bad about last night, he didn't know what came over him. He didn't know why he assumed you were thinking about a person, but when he found out that you were that bothered him for some reason.
He was on his way to the castle, he really wanted to see [First name] and apologize to her.
Moments later, he was knocking on [First name]'s door. When there was no reply, he opened the door slightly. The room was dark, he looked to the side to see if [First name] was on her bed sleeping. But she wasn't there. Where could she be? Link thought to himself.
He quickly ran out of the castle. It rained heavily, and his wet locks of hair stuck to his face as he looked in the castle gardens. He didn't find her there, he frowned and ran out the gates that led to Castle town.
It suddenly grew colder. He felt himself shivering, he screamed out [First name]'s name, desperate to find her.
And finally, after a few minutes of looking, he found you seated on a bench under a tree.
—
[First name] looked up, and she saw Link running towards her. One minute he had a wide smile, the next minute he looked like he could tear anything apart. “Explain why you are out here all alone, especially in weather like this?” Link asked, both concern and anger sprinkling his tone.
