-Demi's POV-

The doorbell rung, and I picked myself up off the couch slowly and made my way to answer it, surprised by the 5 girls standing before me.

"Demi!" Dinah cheered as I opened the door.

Shocked, I quickly hugged them all, inviting them in.

"Sorry it's a surprise Demi," Normani said.

"We're leaving LA tomorrow morning but we had to see you," Dinah added.

I smiled and reassured them that it was fine, then set up on the couch next to Lauren.

"How are you doing?" I asked them.

All replying at once, "amazing."

"It's gonna be different at the x factor this year, I'll miss you."

"We'll visit!" Lauren said.

"How are you doing Demi?" Camila questioned me seriously.

I shrugged, "I'm great. Ready to finish my album and release it."

"Oh yeah you're touring next year right?"

"Yeah after X factor," I replied.

"What I meant," Camz clarified, "was how are you and Ally doing."

"Oh! We're good, well she just found out she's moving to Boston. But I don't think that'll change our relationship too much."

"When is she moving?"

"I don't know she didn't tell me. She was too upset," I answered, frowning as I remembered how upset Ally was last night.

"Can we meet her? She's so cute!" Camila squeeled.

"I'll text her to come over," I offered, pulling out my phone. "And you're right, she is cute."

"Aw you're one of those protective girlfriends," Ally gushed.

"Of course I am," I winked.

There was a knock at the door few minutes later, Ally.

I quickly prepared her for the screaming, which I was sure was bound to happen.

"Ally!" They shouted in unison, surrounding her with hugs.

"Hey," I snapped, "she's mine."

The girls let go and returned to their seat, as I slid my arm onto Ally's waist and pecked her cheek.

"Y'all are adorable!" The other Ally squeeled.

I sat Ally down on my lap happily, chatting with the girls and occasionally giving her a small poke in her side.

"Can we watch a movie?" Camila begged for about the tenth time.

Lauren laughed and pulled her into her side, both blushing and giggling as they did.

"Is camren a thing yet?" I demanded.

"It's in the works." Lauren stated.

I shoved Ally off my lap and slid a movie into the DVD player, closed the blinds, and sat back onto the couch after grabbing a blanket.

" How are you doing?" I muttered into Ally's ear.

She shrugged, curling up to me.

"Don't worry about it baby. It'll be okay, I promise."

Ally pecked me quietly on my lips, then turned her gaze back to the TV.

"Hey." I nudged her. "It will be."

"I wish it would always be like this though." She said softly, resting her head on my warm shoulder.

"Me too," I agreed.

By the time the Fifth Harmony girls had left, it was 10PM, and Ally had to be home in a half hour.

"What do you want to do?" She asked me tiredly.

I smirked at her and made my way across the room, picking her up bridal style and swinging her around the room.

"Demi," She complained, "I'm not really in the mood."

"I'm gonna put you in the mood then," I replied.

I set her against the wall and held her up by her legs, while she rested her arms on either shoulders.

"You know those firework things," Ally said, "that I got the first time we kissed? They never go away, do they?"

"They haven't for me."

Ally pulled me into her, resting her forehead on mine.

"If I could freeze this moment and live in it forever," She sighed.

I interjected, "I would."

I pushed her forehead up with mine and connected our lips, quickly deepening the kiss.

I let her tongue in, as she traced lines up and down my bare neck.

We stayed like this for a while, not wanting to seperate each other's warm embrace, until there was a ring from the doorbell.

"Shit! That's probably my Dad," Ally whined, as I set her down carefully.

"I'll see you on Monday, lovely," I added, making her smile.

Ally gave me a hug and a kiss on my temple, then opened the door.

"Hi Dad," She said happily.

Her tall, nice looking Dad simply nodded sternly, not offering a greeting.

"This is Demi."

"Hi, nice to meet you," I said awkwardly.

He stood motionless, glaring at me, replying, "hi."

"Um," Ally began, "well I'll see you on Monday Demi."

"Bye Ally!"

I closed the door after them and sighed to myself, returning silently to the couch.

What was his problem?
