A/N: Boyd in MM & Before yall read this, I just want to say something that I have prolly said before but more and more comments like this keep popping up and I find myself getting so annoyed that I delete them. Please dont take this badly or anything but listen... i dont give af if you think somebody I used as a character reference is ugly. Like, I really dont care. So stop the "He so ugly." "She not even cute." "Eww wtf why you chose him" "can you change who plays her" "can you change who plays him" comments. That shit is so annoying. And then when I dont give people a face, the same people be wanting them to have a face. NORMAL PEOPLE LOOK DIFFERENT. NORMAL PEOPLE HAVE FLAWS. NOT EVERYBODY LOOKS LIKE IG MODELS AND CELEBRITIES. Like if you wanna complain about what I envision for MY BOOK then dont even say shit at all. Just use your brain and think of somebody else as the character. Its that easy bruh. If you triggered by this i'm sorry but its really been annoying me and when I get annoyed, I dont even be wanting to write. Sorry. That is all. Thank you.

Athena Kelly

"You liar!" I yelled at him. Boyd's eyes widened as if he was in shock.

"What the fuck you talkin' 'bout?" he asked. I had called him over and we were currently sitting in his car.

"Be honest with me or I will be very angry. Do you or do you not work for Sonnie?"

He looked reluctant but nodded his head.

"Why wouldn't you tell me that? You didnt think it was important for me to know?"

"I mean, thats not some shit I just go around tellin' people" he shrugged. "Besides, if I told you that shit, would you have even talked to me?"

I frowned. "Of course not. I'm debating whether or not I want to cut you off now" I folded my arms.

"Look, you ain't gotta do all that. I promise that you ain't never gotta worry about the shit I do gettin' to you" he said looking at me.

I turned my head. "I don't know. I don't feel like I can trust you now. Still doesn't seem like you're telling me everything" I said truthfully. "When I asked you why you didn't want me around Cato... whats the real reason?"

"Me and him don't really get along like that. Ion trust him, he don't trust me."

"Thats it?" I asked.

He nodded but he wasn't looking at me. He was lying.

"You're still lying to me" I grabbed the handle to get out but he grabbed my arm.

"Listen, it's a lot of shit that go into this story. I promise i'll let you know but for now just believe me when I tell you, I'm ain't in any way trynna hurt you, nor am I on the bad side of it all" he said.

"You sure about that?" I raised a brow at him.

"Yes, i'm sure. Just trust me, aight?" he looked me in the eyes. I looked away from him straight ahead.

"If you're lying to me, I swear on everything that I will never talk to you again. I'm going to go inside. Don't call or text me. I'm mad at you" I pulled my hand out if his and opened the door to get out.

When I got back in the house, my mom was on the couch drinking tea and looking at a magazine. I was wondering how she had gotten home and in the house without me seeing her.

"Come here Athena" she stated before I could even get to my room.

I wanted to kick the wall and scream. Instead I just made my way over to her. "Ma'am?"

"Explain your grades" she handed me my report card.

I just sighed. "I can't. I've just been distracted."
