Sarah's POV...

" I wish I could be there with you to share our stories. But sadly, time is far too long and there are always some who want to take our lives from us. So go with your instincts and listen to that voice that tells you what to do. It has saved me many a time and I'm sure it will continue to do so in the future. You are my Joy, my girl. The one to follow your heart to bring you home to me. As you hold these words in your hand and read them, know that I knew that you would one day come.." Then we heard Barb gasp in shock again at whatever it was that Florence had written.

" You are my true Joy, the daughter of my body and the daughter of my heart,

Your grandmother Florence."

We all looked at Joy at hearing these words written so many years ago and I could see that everyone else was shocked at what was written, specifically to Joy. I didn't think there would be anything else that could shock us more than what already had. But I was wrong.

Then I watched as Barb did the one thing I have never seen her do beofre with anyone. Not ever.

She passed the diary across to Joy.

                                                                   *    *    *    *   *

I can still see Joy's face in my mind after that message was read out to her by Barb. Then seeing her face as she saw that message written to her by her own grandmother. Then watching as Joy closed her eyes as she clutched that diary to her chest as the tears ran down her face.

Then to watch as the most beautiful smile I have ever seen begin to appear on her face as her grandson and stepson both came and wrapped their arms around her. That message was written by Daniel's grandmother as well and it showed on his face too as he looked at his mother before kissing her on the side of the head.

Micah of course, was giving her the usual grandson hugs and kisses that grandmothers usually get. You know what I mean.

We were all watching a beautiful moment happen, all thanks to a woman who had died so many years ago. A women who knew that her grand-daughter would come find her. It was a really special moment and I have to say it was the highlight of the whole trip for me.

When we got back to the house and filled Jenny in on what was found, she was just as ecited for Joy as we all were. Barb had to show her the message Florence sent to Joy. Even she was astounded at the letter. I know we all still were. After cleaning ourselves up and having a lovely cuppa, which I think we all earned. Joy called John and told him what was found. She was so animated as she described everything we did and she saw, including Barb and her reactions to the spiders and cobwebs.

We all laughed at something Barb had said to us which surprised us.

" You know how shocked you lot are with that message in the diary? That's how I have felt every day since meeting you all." We couldn't help but laugh at what she said because I know that I felt the same way as she does.

It was all exciting that evening when we all went to the Websters for the evening and again related to them everything that had happened. After dinner, Barb got ready to read another story. We were all very mesmerized with this one as it was Florence recording her first memories of her meeting Rupert. She mentioned that she was five at the time. I thought it was a sweet meeting.
